(Thomas' POV)
I was laying in bed when suddenly, the phone rang. Being in the half asleep state I debated on whether I should get up or not. On the third ring I convinced myself that I had to so I sat up quickly. I put my hand on my head and saw my wife laying beside me fast asleep. I then looked over at my alarm clock which read 7:30. My wife didn't need to get up till 8:00. The phone rung again and I picked it up as I got up to get my robe. -Hello?
I asked even though I had a pretty strong feeling that it was Gui.
-Hey how was your sleep?
Asked Gui. It turned out that I was right.
-It was ok.
I yawned and stretched as I headed towards my closet. I got out a fresh T-Shirt and pants as if it were going to be just a normal day.
-Well, I told Pedro about the documentary.
Said Gui.
-Wait What? Pedro Winter? You know he didn't want anything to do with us since Discovery.
I told Gui strictly.
-Listen he may not be the guy to ask fir the publishing but maybe he can talk a little about us in the old times?
Gui asked with a good point.
-Ok, but did you tell our current manager?
I asked Gui with hope.
-Yea, I did that way before anyone. He's in.
Said Gui with confidence.
-Cool, but who else did you invite in on this?
I asked anxiously.
-Uh... A lot of people actually... Like Skrillex, Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams, Todd Edwards you know... Everyone.
Said Gui.
-Ok, but why are you so excited? Before you didn't really want in on the documentary?
I asked in confusion. I put my clothes on and shut the door slowly to let my Wife sleep in peace. I headed downstairs.
-Well, I changed my mind.
Gui replied honestly and I could tell. I was just glad we were on the same page.
-Ok, gotta go, should we meet back at the studio?
I asked.
-Yea sure, be there for 8:00.
He replied.
-Bye.
I hung up and headed to the kitchen. I opened the fridge but I was caught. I turned around to see my Eldest son standing behind me.
-Roxan! How are you?
I asked him, surprised to see him up so early.
-I'm ok, I'm just hungry.
He replied pointing at the fridge.
-Oh well help yourself man!
I replied letting go of the fridge door. I walked out of the kitchen and looked at my clothes. I couldn't go out like this.
I went back up stairs. I snuck into our room and shut the door slowly behind me. I turned around but no one was there. I walked over to my closet and picked out a jacket to wear to the studio. I missed the big selection of clothes.
-Who called?
Said my wife's voice from behind.
-Oh just Gui.
I replied while putting on the jacket.
-Just Gui...
I replied.
-What was it about?
She asked suspiciously.
-He wants to meet at the studio.
I told her as I put on my sunglasses.
-Oh...
She replied without further question. I walked towards the door.
-Thomas.
She said as I turned around. She walked towards me and kissed me on the cheek.
-I love you.
She said.
-I love you too.
I replied but something felt weird inside. I went downstairs and passed the kitchen where Roxan was eating with his brother Tara-Jay.
-I'm out for the day.
I said to them, heading for the door.
-It's the weekend dad.
Said Tara-Jay with confusion.
-Whatever.
I said rolling my eyes with a wave of my hand. I slipped on my shoes, grabbed my keys, my cell phone then shut the door behind me. I walked over to my car and got in. I started the engine and slipped on my sun glasses. It was too bad that we didn't have a car during our "adventure", things would have been a lot easier. Lost in thought, I came up to a stop light. I looked up at the picture of my kids hung on the mirror. Roxan and Tara-Jay. The best kids I could ask for. Then it suddenly hit me. Tara, Tara-Jay. Tara had the same name, kind of. I didn't remember what she looked like though. I stepped on the gas pedal after the light turned green. I started thinking about the adventure again. Was it real or was it a dream? I asked myself the same question over and over but before I knew it, I was at the Studio. I quickly found a parking spot and got out in front of its huge doors. I got my cell phone out of my pocket and dialled Gui's number.
-Hey.
Said Gui on the other side.
-Man where are you, I'm at the front doors of the studio.
I asked with question, folding up my sunglasses.
-Oh, I'm already inside. Just greet the clerk, tell him you're name and head up.
Replied Gui as if he couldn't care more.
-K
I said then hung up and opened the doors. The Clerk seemed happy to see me. I walked closer to the desk.
-Thomas right?
He asked as if he were expecting me.
-Yea.
I replied casually.
-I'm excited to see the documentary.
He said since Gui must have told him.
-Right.
I replied then headed for the elevator.
When it opened someone else was in it at the same time. Probably some other musician hoping to make a legacy. I hopped in and all was silent. I looked at the wall to try and make it less awkward. I eventually looked over and she did too.
-Good Morning.
She said politely. I looked at her with a smile.
-Same to you.
I replied casually. She was wearing a blue shirt. It had some sort of logo on it.
-I like your shirt.
I complimented.
-Thanks, it was bought for me online. SickPose is one of my favourite bands right now.
She said confidently. I went into total shock.
-Ok.
I replied quickly so I could go over everything in my head. Sick-Pose?! That was the band in the adventure. The collaborating band. The reason why we even boarded the plane. The door opened to her floor and she stepped out. It was just me alone now. I got real nervous about what had happened in the past. I had to talk to Gui about it. The door soon opened again and I stepped out.
