It's been a week since I got here and its finally time.

I've been cooking something up, ever since I took over.

Between training a whole population and cooking up plans to go to war with the World Government (Vick wants to advance from here slowly gaining territory, Monda wants to place dissidents in every nation and attack all at once, I can't shake the feeling it's all going to come here to us) there hasn't been much time to deal with anything else.

Except for today.

Today we're getting rid of the soldiers.

Vick, Tasma, and I stand at the border between our side and the area that used to be all metal. In place of the metal is a lush green field. Behind us is the legion of World Government soldiers, all still healing and gaunter than they'd like to be.

Across from us is a third in command of the World Government, a small squad of about twenty lower numbered soldiers stand behind her.

"Here we all are," I gesture behind us, "as promised. They're all accounted for, we've kept no prisoners."

"And you're just handing them over?" The third in command scoffs.

"Sure am," I wave them forward.

As the first soldier reaches the border, I stop them.

"Wait!"

All eyes turn to me.

Anxiety rises up inside of me under their gaze.

"Eyes forward, men," I wave forwards, "no looking back, just wait a second."

They all slowly look away, the third in command eyes me suspiciously.

I take a deep breath to ease my nerves.

"They come with a message," I stare back at her.

"And what message is that? And who is it from?" She puts her hands on her hips, her coat bulges from the muscles underneath.

"It's from me. Take your soldiers and get out of this country. You have a day to leave peacefully, or we'll be making you leave by force."

"And why should we leave? You're giving us our men back, you have nothing to barter with." She smirks triumphantly.

"Exactly." I wave the soldiers on.

They swarm over the border.

"One day," I hold up one finger.

Her face is twisted in confusion.

I watch as the confusion contorts into anger.

"Men! Attack!" She draws a long sword and points it at me.

Now's the time.

The army of soldiers turn back to face me, anger on their faces.

I close my eyes and focus.

For a split second I'm back on that table, a many armed and legged monster hovering over me. Fear grips my very being.

I open my eyes.

Heat rises from my diaphragm.

"Run." I whisper.

The word cuts through them all in an instant.

They turn tail and run in a stampede away from the border. The third in command stands rooted to the floor, her face an awful shade of green.

I take another deep breath, letting my own fear go.
