Busan is beautiful. I honestly have no words to describe the beauty of Busan. To say 'beautiful' would be an understatement.
I clutched my Polaroid camera, the love of my life, as I trudged past my dad, capturing everything my eyes noticed.

I heard my dad's soft laugh behind me,
"Y/n-ah, slowly, or else you'll fall.", I turned around to see him smiling brightly at me, his eyes crinkled as he showed his white teeth. "Don't worry. I won't." I assured him, smiling.

I love my dad so much. He's my hero. Will always be, and no one's ever gonna replace that.

"Where do you wanna go now?" He asked, his smile a little faded but his eyes brimming with a mix of happiness and assurance, I paused, concluding and nodded, "I'm hungry appa... Let's go grab something to eat?"

He nodded, still smiling, "Okay," he held out his hand, and I caught onto it, "How hungry are you? One to ten." He asked, as we walked hand in hand, amply. "11." I stated, making him laugh. He punches his free arm into the air, "To the nearest Convenience store we go!"

"Stop taking too many photos sweetie, it's gonna get cold." Appa said, as I just ignored him and clicked away. Believe me, I love my dad, but this ramen looked really appetizing and I just can't resist taking it on camera, and appa knows that very well too.

"Y/n." I looked at him, holding eye contact for a while, feeling the sternness in his voice and disapproval in his eyes, I kept my Polaroid inside. My dad pulls out his parent card in situations like this. I don't have a choice but to roll with it cuz I'd rather not know what will happen if I don't.

"Good." He said, regaining his composure.
"Now, eat that ramen before it turns cold." He pointed at my open, delicious-looking ramen. "Here." He handed me my chopsticks as I dug in, the ramen tasting like heaven, as usual, "Do you want some, appa?" I looked up at him as he smiled and pinched my cheeks, his face scrunched up in a nose crinkled smile, "No, you can have it, sweetie. Tell me if you want more, alright?"

I nodded, and continued eating.

Wait. What if, I capture this? Me with my appa?

"What happened, Y/n? Something wrong?" My dad's audible confusion hitting me, as I snapped out of my idea.
"No, no appa! I just..." I looked around to see if anyone was there, and surely there was. I spotted a girl, wearing a school uniform, standing not too far away from us.

I got up from my seat. "Y/n? What are you doing?" Appa enquired as I assured him it was nothing. He's gonna be mad if I tell him I got up from EATING for a picture.
My dad is really particular about eating in peace, and his peace is usually people not standing up for anything while eating. I walked over to the girl, wiping my mouth with the tissue I'd picked up, "Uhm... Jogiyo? Do you mind clicking a picture of me and my father?"
(Translation: Excuse me)

The girl turned around, her eyes wide, but then she broke into a polite smile and nodded. I returned a polite smile as I walked her to my place and handed her my Polaroid. My dad was confused but then seemed to get it after I'd taken out my camera. "Y/n-ahh, you got up fro-"
"Smile appa!" I nudged him, laughing.

He seemed to give up, finally smiling.

The girl smiled, handing my Polaroid back as I spoke out a grateful 'thank you.', and left.
"Waa," I looked at the picture that was eventually getting visible, "This pic is so good! Right?" I shoved it under my dad's nose as he looked at it, "No matter how many Polaroid pics I take, mine never turns out good!" I said in mock sadness, I saw my dad rolling his eyes as his lips quirked up, "If you're not eating that, I am." He said, grabbing my ramen.

I didn't say anything, letting him eat it, I stared at the photo, I have always loved photography, but only as a hobby. I've had this Polaroid for almost 5 years now. I focused on my dad's unmoving, happy face. I hope he'll be like this even in the future. I hope he stays happy and healthy.

My eyes roved over to my face, my face immediately cringing a little. I don't really like clicking pictures of myself as I don't look THAT good. I'd rather click pictures of my family and views, instead of my face. Not really fond of it.

I hear my dad's ringtone, "Appa, you're phone." I remind, as he takes it out of his pocket. "Ahh, Y/n, I know, I can hear." He joked, "I'm not that old, you know?" He laughed, accepting the call.
I looked at him as he spoke, but then suddenly, his smile was masked by... Confusion?

"What? Are you sure?" I heard him say, his eyebrows furrowed, "Okay, we'll be there, call the ambulance."
Ambulance? What?

"Appa? What happened?"

He didn't even spare a glance at me, as he grabbed my hand and walked straight out, having a completely serious expression. What was going on?

"Appa? What happened?" I repeated.
He didn't reply as he hauled a taxi. I got annoyed, and scared.

The taxi stopped in front of us as appa opened the door for us to get in.
He told the driver some hospital's address.

"Appa! You're scaring me." I looked up at him.

He then looked at me, his eyes filled with worry but his face taut.

"Your mom. She fainted and fell down the stairs."
