I'm Cyan. Cyan Hades. I'm the first born son of the Hades Family where my father's work is unbeknownst to us, our mother always have bruises, and our servants are treated like animals. Me and my younger sister Louise are the only ones treated like royals; even our mother calls us 'master' and 'mistress'. I and my sister, feel sorry for all of them, that's why I've tried running away with both my mother and my sister but we keep getting caught by the guards whom are getting paid more than double a normal private residence guard earns in a month.

"Cyan.. when do you think will we finally attend an actual school?" I remembered this question that my sister asked me while I was scrolling through my phone a couple of days ago. We never attended "school" but we're not home-schooled either. We attend a place where they tell us is the school but it's actually a private residence owned by our father and disguised as a school, even our schoolmates are all our age to further up the façade. How did I find this out? I have my own personal servants aside from the ones in the mansion. They're loyal to me and not my father, my sister also have one, albeit only one, that woman's capability is unmatched even surpassing our father's best guards. However, we can't use them to help mother and the others escape, the mansion is secured all throughout.

"Cyan! Cyan!" My sister shouted, her screams are echoing against the quiet halls towards my library. "What is it?" I asked her when she got to me, panting. "Ms. Howard! She's dead!" Her servant is... Dead? Impossible! "How?!" I exclaimed, still in disbelief. "I... I don't know... Perhaps they found out she was the one who tried to assassinate father a month back..." She said as she tremble in front of me. She's scared. I hugged her to comfort her. "I'll lend you one of my servants in the meantime,"

Our father gave us a call while we're in my library; my sister's phone rung and vibrated. "Yes, father?" She answered, trying to regain her composure and hide her reaction as to what happened recently in hopes that father wouldn't find out that it was our doing. "I'm moving the two of you to a different household. It seems that my foes have found your location," It was a relief to know that father thought it wasn't our doing, although the downside is that we'll move to a different home and... possibly new servants. I really hope we won't have to rehire servants, it's really exhausting re-introducing them to their work.

"Cyan... Do you think we'll move to Zhester just like what Ms. Howard informed us?" My sister asked me. "It's possible, it's the same information my servants found when they're investigating in father's office," I replied. "By the way, who are you going to lend me?", "Go ask Ramirez if he wants to work for you for the time being," I told her. "Ramirez? Your chauffeur? Why him? Can't I get one of your body guards instead?" She complained. "I really don't have anyone else to work for you, the others are investigating father, I only have three servants beside me at all times, they're my chauffeur, assistant, and a body guard," I explained to her. "Can he at least protect me?", "Yeah, he's capable of guarding you, you don't have to worry," I assured her. My sister sighed and walked away as she wave while walking. "Thanks a lot, Cyan," She mumbled.

After a while, Ramirez called me, "Young master? Is it true you're reassigning me to the young mistress?", "Yes, I'm afraid it's true Ramirez. You'll be working for my sister while she looks for a replacement for Ms. Howard," Me and Ramirez had a couple more exchanges before we agreed on some terms.

It's not even an hour before the reassignment and they already left, Louise texted me that they're going shopping. Oh that sister of mine... I'm sure she'll be meeting up with one of our spies on father. Father is kind of a control freak, you see. Our accounts are accessible to him, that's why me and my sister have developed some 'codes' to communicate with each other through texts and calls. Yes, calls are accessible to father too; albeit not recorded, we don't know when father will be listening so it's better to be careful than sorry.

It's late at night... It's 9pm and my sister hasn't returned. I asked Mr. Howard — Ms. Howard's brother — to go look for them. I asked him politely instead of giving orders to him since he's mourning the death of his beloved sister. He agreed to it with no hesitation though, I'm guessing he's looking forward to work in order to cope with his grief.

It's only been 30 minutes and Howard already called me, "Young master, I saw your father's limousine. I think he's headed towards the mansion," Crap! My sister isn't home yet! We might get in trouble if father were to be suspicious of our actions! "In any way you can, get Louise and Ramirez back here immediately!" I shouted at the phone. "Will do, sir," A minute has passed and Ramirez texted me on his virtual phone number, "Young master, me and the young mistress will be home asap per your request, although a problem arose.. the car's been hijacked so me and mistress had a plan, we'll get your father to come here to pick us up, we're currently in the process of buying as much stuffs as we could carry just so your father would believe we went shopping. Plus we're using cash for the payment so your father won't suspect a thing about bank records." That was quite the plan, Ramirez... "Tell Louise to start texting me," I replied to him. "Her phone's dead, sir," Ramirez replied immediately. This is bad...

Half an hour has passed and Howard got home. "Young master, I got more information about your father, when and where would you like to hear them?" He told me. I didn't even asked him to update me about the spies' information. This man's working just to put his mind away from his sister. We were wrong about wanting to take our own father's life, granted he's a terrible person but taking someone's life isn't the best thing to go. I'm sure no one will miss our father since pretty much everyone is an enemy to him aside from his personal servants - at least, that's what we think -, even his own children and wife despise him. But even if no one will miss him, I'm just realizing that killing him makes us the evil ones here, no reason can justify a murder.

"Before bedtime, in my room," I silently replied. I don't know what's with me tonight, I just don't feel like talking at anyone. A minute more and coincidentally, a black limousine pulled up at the gate. It's father... Hopefully with Louise and Ramirez. It drove to the fountain in front of the porch, men in a black suit opened the doors and Louise came out with a bruise on her right cheek, Ramirez with a black eye, and father with his bleeding hands... My rage for hitting both my servant and my sister... I take back what I said, I want to shoot my father right here and then. But... No, I can't.

"It's been a while, Cyan," father greeted me coldly, his eyes are dead and his fists clenched. His men behind him took out the ridiculous amount of shopping bags that Louise and Ramirez bought.

"Same goes to you, father," I greeted him back, my tone is dead, my eyes are cold and blank as I stare at him. I've met my father.. for the first time in two years and he greeted my sister with a punch. I'll make sure you'd pay for this, you monster. Nobody touches my sister like that.
