FINN'S POV

"That's her" he says walking towards the door failing to tell me who HER is? As the door open a beautiful girl stands their wrapping her arms around Noah. She wore a nice leather jacket, her eyeliner perfect something you'd only see in videos. As she walks in. jumping to take seat next to me on the counter, "Finn buddy I've heard a lot about you?" I take a moment to comprehend before blurting some words out "Heyy! Buddy?" I say confused as she grabs my hand giving it a firm shake "Arabella, Noah's girlfriend" My heart sinks I knew he had a girlfriend but I guess I hadn't been fully prepared to actually meet the girl! I give her a warm smile as Noah walks in the room walking up to her and giving her a kiss.

I stair awkwardly, I mean it's not like I like him it's just I don't want to be a third wheel! So instead of just sitting their I get up "Hey guys I should probably go" even Noah looked at me weird since I had just gotten their and we had gotten no work done. "Aww stay dude I really wanted to get to know you" Arabella frowned as she spoke. I smile softly making up an excuse to leave "I know I would have loved to get to know you too but my friend Andy called and you know when your best friend calls!" She laughs giving me a hug before I started heading out of Noah's house standing before his front door.

NOAH'S POV

Arabella is my girlfriend from 2 years, we met in the ally of a concert venue both smoking a cigarette I gave her my lighter. Though something was always off with us. As I kissed her and looked in to Finn's eyes I could tell something was wrong no matter how much I didn't like that dunce something was telling me to talk to him, I gave Arabella one last kiss "I'll be back" she gave me a smile hopping down off the counter and cooking The food that was still on The stove.

FINN'S POV

As I walked over to my bike I hear creaking behind me Noah's grabs my arm. "What?" I give him a look "Huh?", "Why are you leaving" he says staring at me his tone flat "Oh! I just had some plans with Andy but cya around tough guy" I move a piece of hair from out of his face that has fallen out and ride away heading somewhere just not to Andy or home. Noah shouts from down the road "My hoodie!" His voice echoing through the neighborhood, I laugh thinking to myself he'll just have to wait to see it again.

As I arrive at the Park I just take a second to think of everything that's happened this week. I would usually talk to my mom about everything like this when we were younger but ever since we've moved to this new town I see less and less of my parents every week. It felt like I was doing everything myself and they just payed bills? How would I know anymore. I lay down on the grass scrolling through my phone for anything when Emily's name pop's up and i answer happy to hear from my sweet friend.

Emily: Heyy Finn guess what

Finn: *I say enthusiastically* another boba date?

Emily: *She laughed through the phone* "Haha already wanting more"

We both laugh because we'll both of us are-

Emily: Well maybe I'll be seeing you sooner then later sinceee I wanted to invite you to a little pool get together tonight.

I thought about it for a while the line going quite maybe this would help me get over this week.

Emily: Hello?

Finn: Yeah! Sorry I was just thinking but sure sounds fun!

Emily: great it's just going to be a few people you can invite Andy and Jiro if you want

Finn: Sounds good to me

Emily: great I'll pick you up around 9:30 it's a date!

Finn: See you soon

I chuckled hanging up the phone and giving my friends a call to plan a meet up to get ready for the night.

An hour or so passes by as me and Andy meet outside of jiro's place gathering up in her bathroom "So how'd your date go?" Jiro squeals as she puts her makeup on sitting by her vanity. "Well we had a long talk and it was for a dare the girls at the school forced her in to it just to "prove" something" Jiro frowns making a disappointed face "Sorry babes, is she still interested?" I chuckled a bit reassuring Jiro "You could say she's more in to you" I say watching her face turn bright red.

"But we're still friends and she kinda helped me realize myself I'm more into.. guys" I smile awkwardly doing a bit of jazz hands I expected over the top reactions from both of them but Jiro just sat their smiling "I knew you were fruity" I laugh turning over to face Andy "Dude we've been friends since since middle school remember I watched you kiss a guy in the 7th grade for like 20 minutes" i look at him Mischievously "And your next!" Me and Andy both run around the room screaming leading to me eventually catching up to him and giving him a smooch on the cheek us both falling on to the floor laughing.

The rest of the time we spent getting ready listening to music and having a good time. It really made me think about how thankful I was for these guys. Jiro pulls out her phone yelling a quick "PHOTO!" before snapping a group photo of us finally we get a call from Emily and a honk of her car outside the window. Let's see where this night takes us...
