Uses two decks: One speedroid( Secondary deck and Main Synchro) and One Fiend(Main underground/Default deck and mixture of Synchro and Xyz).
Background: Lucien was born from the affair between Mr. Kastle and an unknown woman. He was one year of age when he was dropped off in an orphanage by his mother( as she didn't tell Mr.Kastle she was pregnant with his child). Over 7 years in the orphanage, Lucien would take up dueling as a way to have fun and protect all his younger siblings, especially a little boy named Kyoji Yagumo, from bullies with a deck comprised of fiend-type monsters and Synchro monsters, earning him the nicknames The Duelist of Fiends and The Synchro Duelist. On his 8th birthday, he got the shock of his life once he found out both his biological parents were dead. His mother died from cancer and his biological father, with his family suffered a car crash. He found out his younger brother and sister survived the crash but all of them lost their father. Child services put all 3 siblings together in their old mansion. It sucked for Lucien to leave the orphanage but he told Kyoji and the other kids that he will return and told them to never give up. Ever since leaving the orphanage, Lucien had to grow up very quickly in order to take care of his younger brother and sister like he did to ther children in the orphanage. He started training hard in dueling, learning from trial and error, taking different dueling strategies and incorporated it into his duel style. He also learned of a way to make easy money by dueling in the underground duel circuit. He didn't want to worry his siblings as they know how dangerous those duels are. Eventually he got into contact with a business client who can be his manager for the underground and was surprised she was related to his brother in the orphanage Kyoji Yagumo. The first two nights of dueling mean duelists, he came across Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder and Rafael, Lord of Phantasm. After beating them, he took their cards for his own and tuned his deck to work for them. However 2 years later, He faced the biggest challenge in his 375 unbeaten dueling record when he came face-to-face with the Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu. After a tough duel, he finally beat him but barely. After the duel with Ccapac Apu, Lucien stopped doing underground duels as he earned more than enough money to financially stable his siblings and help them get into school. He continued school online and excelled at his studies learning how to do business. Things were going well for the Kastle siblings until tragedy struck again when Rio was hospitalized from a fire in a warehouse. He tried rescuing her from the warehouse but a sharp metal cut the left side of his mouth leaving a scar and Rio lost her eyesight. Ever since then, Lucien and Reginald have been growing distant from each other. Lucien felt Reginald needed his time but all that came to a head when he found out Reginald was disqualified from the nationals. Lucien confronted his brother and things got heated when Reginald told him they share blood but aren't family. Reginald told Lucien that he didn't want to see him ever again so they dueled with the stakes that the loser leaves town forever. Once he lost, Lucien bid farewell to his brother and told him that even though he said all those hurtful things he still considers him his brother. After leaving Heartland city, Lucien made a new home in New Domino City and reunited with Mrs.Yagumo to resume his dueling in the underground and enrolled in Duel Academy where he became their strongest duelist with his overwhelming power with his Synchro monsters. After the emergence of number cards in the world, Lucien made it his mission to become the strongest duelist in the world and be a master of two different summoning methods.
