He arrived at the underground hideout with his motorcycle. He parked it in its own special lane just for him. Once he did that, he walked up to the entrance and was greeted by his manager.

Mrs.Yagumo: Hello Lucien.

Lucien: Hello Mrs.Yagumo. Is everything all set after this?

Mrs.Yagumo: Yes. After these two duels, the underground duel circuit will be no more in this city. However there is talk of restarting the business thanks to a Mr.Heartland in his Heartland City.

Lucien: Then I guess I have even more reason to return home as well as this.

He takes out the invitational envelope and hands it to his guardian. She takes it and reads over the contents before looking back at him.

Mrs.Yagumo: So this was supposed to be given after your match.

Lucien: Yeah but I figured I get it out the way now since I was already planning on returning home this just reinforced my decision, besides I can find strong duelists to fight and increase my record.

Mrs.Yagumo: Well I will leave you now to your room to get your decks ready. Remember the conditions set right.

Lucien: I do, which is why I'm putting them in their special box and giving it to you for safe keeping. It has a biometric lock on it so that only my specific prints and eye can open it.

Mrs.Yagumo: Alright then, I'll leave you now to prepare. Good luck.

Lucien: Please, the only people that are going to need it are my opponents.

Mrs.Yagumo leaves the room leaving Lucien with his spirit partners. Yako, Misty, and Yubel materialize infront of him. They don't say anything for a bit and the 3 just look at each other. Yako and Misty nod towards Yubel and she moves forward while the other two de-materialize.

Yubel: If you would like, I can give you pointers on how to counter the Evil Heroes. My Haou had those same cards so I have the best experience with them.

Lucien: I am on a similar mind as you. Other than my research earlier with the deck, it doesn't look like much but your experience will come in handy. Also the fact that the other 2 don't have much experience as you. Ready Yubel.

Yubel: I am.

Lucien walks out of his room towards the arena with Yubel in tow but suddenly she stops. She feels a familiar presence. She leaves Lucien's side and heads outside. She surveys the area, looking around until she stops at the rooftop of a building across the street. A figure is standing there looking at her. Suddenly a crimson purplish aura surrounds the figure. Yubel gasps in shock before the figure opens a portal and goes into it. However before the figure fully disappeared, the aura on it turned a bright white and red eyes stared back at Yubel. Yubel just floats there in disbelief. She then feels two other presences behind her and turns around to see Yako and Misty materialize infront of her. Yako steps forward.

Yako: What happened Yubel?

Yubel: I saw an old enemy, I thought was destroyed.

Misty: What enemy?

Yubel: The forgotten light.

Yako and Misty widen their eyes before Yako speaks again.

Yako: It would seem the first trail has begun and in the form of an old nemesis of yours.

Yubel: Do you think he has already converted people to his cause of Barian World.

Yako: No. If he did, he wouldn't make his prescence felt. All he's doing is gouging the opposition and reporting to his master. The only thing we can do now is prepare Lucien for this threat after his match which will soon start so let us return to his side.
