Camille's POV

I giggled as Adam poked my sides as we both escorted Belle to the library. Belle smiled, "You two are so perfect for each other. Romeo and Juliet is my favorite play, you two remind me of them." Adam groaned loudly, "Why is that not a surprise?" Belle looked at me surprised, "I'm sorry?"

I giggled as Adam explained, "Well, all that heartache and pining and-" Adam faked throwing up as I laughed louder, "There are so many better things to read, Belle." Belle gasped and swatted at me, "Hush you! Like what?" I laughed, "I'm right!" Adam opened the library doors, "Well, there are a couple of things in here you could start with..."

Belle gasped and looked around, "Camille, you knew about this?" I nodded and Adam held my hand, "Camille always brought me new books to read when she came. If you like it so much, it is yours." Adam and I walked away to spend more time together and Belle called out, "Have you two really read every one of these books?"

Adam smirked and faced Belle, "Well, not all of them. Some of them are in Greek." Belle giggled, "Was that a joke?" I giggled behind my hand and Adam looked away from her, "Maybe. Hush, Cammie. You know that is not lady-like." I squealed as Adam poked my sides again as we walked away.

At lunch, Belle sat on the opposite end of the table where I was supposed to technically sit, but I always sat by Adam, so I didn't care and I looked up from my book to see Adam slurping his soup. I covered my mouth with a giggle as Adam froze and grinned at me sheepishly. Belle giggled and picked up her soup bowl, drinking the soup as I followed her lead.

Adam grinned and repeated after us, looking at me, "Your mother would have a fit." I licked my lips and smiled, "She gave up as soon as I became mad with finding where you went." Adam smiled, "And I'm thankful you didn't give up, beloved." I blushed and looked away from him, "Always the charmer."

After lunch, the three of us took a walk in the garden as Belle read from her book. Adam and I stopped, looking out to the frozen lake and Adam smiled, "I feel as if I'm seeing it all for the first time." Belle smiled at the both of us, "You both look as regal as ever." I giggled as Adam looked at Belle, "Is there any more?"

Belle rolled her eyes, jokingly, "It's like I'll become the Queen's reader. 'But in that solemn silence is heard the whisper of every sleeping thing. Look. Look at me. Come wake me up. For still here I be'." Adam looked into my eyes and I smiled, falling in love with my prince all over again.

I giggled as I watched Adam try and pet Madeleine. It took a bit, but with my hand with Adam's, Madeleine remembered Adam.

"There's something sweet and almost kind. But he was mean and he was coarse and unrefined," I smiled and watched Adam fondly, "And now he's dear and so unsure. I wonder why he didn't see it in himself before."  I laughed as I threw a snowball at Adam, only to start panicking when Adam picked up the biggest snowball ever and threw it at me. With me failing to run away from it, causing Adam to laugh.

"Never new, and never alarming. Who'd have ever thought that this wouldn't be? True, that he's no Prince Charming, but there's something in him that he simply didn't see." I handed Adam some books that we've both read several times, but they never fail to make us both excited.

--------The Next Morning--------

I walked out into the courtyard where Adam was reading and I smiled, "What are you reading?" Adam shut the book quickly and looked at me with a smile, "Nothing, beloved." I looked at the cover, "Guinevere and Lancelot." Adam blushed, "Well, actually. King Arthur and the Round Table." I smiled, "Of course. Knights and Lord, swords. Still...It's a romance. And Belle will tease you about it."

Adam groaned, "Of course she will. She's your best friend." We could hear Belle and the others having fun and I smiled, "They never forgot how to have a good time, did they?" Adam nodded, "Yes. But when I enter the room, laughter dies." I sighed, "Adam, it does not. They just don't want to make you angry. Look, Belle wants to thank you for saving her. But she needs to say it. Take her somewhere. Anywhere she likes. Bond. You two are very important people in my life and if you can't get along, then I'm not sure what to do."

Adam looked wary, "You'd want me to take her somewhere?" I rolled my eyes fondly, "I love you Adam and Belle knows it. She's not ready for love. Bond as friends." Adam smiled and kissed my forehead, "Wait for me?" I smiled, "Always, now go thank each other." Adam walked off to Belle to see if she wanted to go anywhere in the world and I walked over to Lumiere as the duo walked off.

Lumiere looked astonished, "Your Highness? You're making them fall in love?!" I laughed and shook my head, "No! They are two important people in my life and they need to thank each other. I won't have one in my life, hating the other. I love Adam." The servants looked relieved and Mrs. Potts sighed in relief, "I was frightened for a moment, dear." I giggled, "Don't worry. Adam told me that he only thinks of Belle as my best friend and Adam and I have waited far too long to give up on us now."
