Camille's POV

Belle came running up to me with a smile, "You have to get in your best gown. There will be a dance tonight and you will look the best for Adam." I giggled, "I guess you two bonded?" Belle nodded quickly, "Hurry!" Belle pulled me upstairs and into my room where she dug into my wardrobe for a dress.

I smiled as Belle did my hair, looking into the mirror, "Thank you, Belle." Belle giggled as I twirled in my dress, "You look beautiful. No makeup is needed. Just you. Now, Princess Camille, daughter of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, you are ready to dance with your Prince."

Belle walks down the staircase and over to Mrs. Potts as I stand at the top of the staircase, smiling softly at Adam, who smiles back at me. We both make our way down to each other and start to dance to the very song that I wrote for Madame de Garderobe to sing in her shows.

Tale as Old as Time, True as it can be

Barely even friends, then somebody bends, unexpectedly

Just a little change, small to say the least

Both a little scared, neither one prepared

Beauty and the Beast

Ever just the same, ever a surprise

Ever as before, ever just as sure

As the sun will rise

Tale as Old as Time, Tune as Old as Song

Bittersweet and strange

Finding you can change, Learning you were wrong

Certain as the sun, rising in the east

Tale as Old as Time, Song as Old as Rhyme

Beauty and the Beast

Tale as Old as Time, Song as Old as Rhyme

Beauty and the Beast

I smiled at Adam as we both made our way out to the balcony and Adam turned towards Belle, "Belle, please come here." Belle hurried our way and Adam smiled, "I want to thank you for bringing Cammie here, Belle. I hadn't danced in years. I'd almost forgotten the feeling. I want you to be free, Belle. I want to give you this."

Adam pulled out the enchanted mirror that the enchantress gave him and handed it to Belle, "It's yours." Belle spoke to the mirror, "I'd like to see my father." The mirror showed Maurice, but he wasn't in good shape. Belle gasped, "Papa! What are they doing to him?! Camille, why are your parents' there in Villeneuve? He's in trouble!" I gasped and Adam nodded, "Then you must go to him. Both of you."

I looked at Adam, "What? I just got you back!" Adam cupped my cheek, "And you'll always have me, but your parents were probably told that you disappeared and it's not going to go well if you don't go and put a stop to it. Your parents probably blame Belle's father. You need to help." Belle looked at me with tears in her eyes and tried to hand Adam back the mirror.

Adam shook his head, "No, keep it. Just so Camille can have it to look back on me." I cried softly, "What about the curse?" Adam sighed sadly, "Like you said, Cammie. You love me, but it's the self-love that is missing and I'm not sure how to do that." I kissed Adam's lips softly, "I'll be back for the last petal falls. I promise." Adam smiled, "Always, beloved."

Belle hugged me and we both ran off to save Maurice. Once we got our horses saddled up, we rode off into the night. I looked back at the castle and teared up, "Adam." Belle sniffled, "I promise, you will be back to break the curse. I swear to it."

------------------------------------------

Belle and I rode into Villeneuve with determination, cutting off the Mad House Carriage. "Stop!" Belle yells and I glare at Gaston. My mother gasps in happiness, "Cammie!" I got off Madeleine and hurried over to my parents, "Mother, father. Whatever these people have told you. It's wrong. I wasn't kidnapped and I didn't disappear." Belle ran to the carriage with the mirror in hand and went to her father, "Papa! Let him out! He's hurt."

My father looked at me, "Where were you?" I sighed, "Father, I will explain later, but there isn't any time. We need to release Monsieur Maurice." Belle looked at Gaston, "My father isn't crazy. Gaston, tell him." Gaston grinned slightly, "Belle, you know how loyal I am to your family, but your father's been making some unbelievable claims, so much so that we had to summon the King and Queen to be here."

A man walked forward, "It's true Belle, he's been raving about a beast in a castle. Talking about how he knew the Princess and wouldn't let her go." Belle glared at him, "We've just come from a castle and there is a beast." I looked at Father and he didn't look convinced, "Father, it's Adam. Please you know there is more to this world and you know that I would never lie to you nor spend years on end with someone who might be telling lies."

Father looked at me with a smile, "I believe you, but you'll have to show me." Gaston called out, "You'd say anything to set him free. Your word is hardly proof." I glared at Gaston, "What about my word?" Belle glared at Gaston, "You want proof? Show me the beast!" The mirror showed Adam and Mother gasped, whispering, "Louis, it is Adam, you can see it in his face. Cammie's right. We have to put a stop to this."

Gaston took the mirror and started to scare the villagers and I called out, "No, no. Don't be afraid. He's gentle and kind." Gaston looked at me and then at my parents, "Your Majesties. The monster has both of them under his spell. If I didn't know better, I'd say that Princess Camille cared for him!"

I glared at Gaston, "He's not a monster, Gaston. You are! The Beast wouldn't hurt anyone!" Gaston glowered at me, causing my parents to hold my arms in fear, seeing the rage in his eyes, "I've heard of the effects of dark magic, but I've never before seen it with my own eyes! This is a threat to our very existence!"

The villagers cheered in agreement and my parents looked at me, "Warn Adam, Cammie." I looked at my Father, "What about you two?" My father smiled at me, "We have guards. You have love. Go break the curse to your beloved. Go, Cammie. We will meet you there. Go, now!"

I ran back over to Madeleine and ushered her off with Belle yelling, "Go, Camille!" I sighed in relief, "Hang on, Adam."
