Chapter 4: A Special Surprise turns bad..

Five months later, May 30, 2008

Rina was at New York with her family for her dad's business trip and Tom was also at New York for a tour he had with his band. Rina didn't know Tom was in New York and Tom didn't know Rina was at New York. One day, Rina woke up with pain and began to get ready to go get something from the store, that something was a pregnancy test.

When Rina bought the pregnancy test, she was feeling nervous, but she was also hopeful that the pregnancy test might say that she's not pregnant, so she could forget everything that happened between her and Tom. Rina took the test, and it was positive. Rina is pregnant at the age of 17.

Rina: No! No! I'm pregnant with Tom's baby! No no no!

Rina couldn't believe what she saw and she broke down in tears as well, upon reading the positive results of the test. It was obvious that the baby was Tom's. However, Rina was afraid of what this meant and she was starting to panic. Rina couldn't tell her parents, especially her father, as she feared that her dad might be mad, furious, or disappointed at her. Rina hoped they would accept her despite the circumstances. 

Rina left the house and ran to Elize's house which is five minutes away from the vacation house. Rina knocked at the door and Elize opened it.

Elize: Rina! What a surprise you came! What's going on?

Rina: Let me in, I'll explain it to you.

Elize let Rina inside, and they went to sit on the couch, Elize's 1 year old daughter Anna crawled to Elize and carried her, Elize was also a teen mom and her backstory of how she got Anna was sad.

Elize: So, what's going on?

Rina: I know you had Anna young, and were both 17 years old, but.. I'm.. I'm pregnant..

Elize couldn't believe what Rina had just told her. It was a shock for her, to find out that Rina was pregnant at the age of 17. Elize began to tell Rina who's the father of the baby.

Elize: You're joking, right? Who's the father? Don't tell me it's Tom!

Rina: It's.. Tom. We had sex on my 17th birthday three months ago. I didn't told Tom yet because I'm scared he would leave me, and I didn't tell my parents also because I'm scared they would kick me out..

Rina began to cry, and Elize wanted hugged Rina, so she could comfort her in this difficult situation. Elize was also a teen mom, to see Rina pregnant and becoming a teen mom soon, Elize felt extremely sorry for Rina.

Elize: I'm so sorry Rina. Just tell your parents. My parents supported me when I got pregnant with Anna a year ago.

Rina and Elize went outside and they hugged each other goodbye.

Elize: I'll tell our friends about this.. okay?

Rina: Okay..

Once Rina arrived at the house, she walked to her parents' room and she saw them relaxing and chilling. Rina was starting to get nervous to tell her parents that she's pregnant with Tom's baby.

Rina: Hey mom and dad, I wanted to tell y'all something.

Ann: Tell us, my dear.

Rina tried not to cry in front of her parents

Rina: I'm.. pregnant, please don't get mad at me!

Rina's mother couldn't believe that her daughter got pregnant at the age of 17 and she was wondering who the father was. Rina's father looked upset and he was silent for a few seconds.
