Nearly ten years had passed since the O Dubhda's had awoken to find baby Alara in Aiofe's old wardrobe but Privet Drive had hardly changed at all. The sun still rose on the same tidy front gardens and lit up the brass number five on the O Dubhda's front door; it crept into their living room, which was almost the exact same as it had been on the night Enya O'Dubhda found her crying niece in the wardrobe. Only the photographs on the mantelpiece really showed how much time had passed. Ten years ago there had been lots of pictures of an infant swaddled in pink blankets or in cute baby grow suits while being held by Sean, or Enya, or even Dylan while seated on the Sofa. There were also pictures of Dylan, who looked joyful but shy in most of them. He was a chubby baby, and that followed him through toddlerhood. There were a few pictures of Brigid and Aiofe and Enya's deceased fiance, Jack Collins as well, and even a few baby pictures Alara that Aiofe had sent over to her sister, a few featuring Harry, Rolf, Edie, and Robyn. Perhaps one or two of just Enya or just Sean. But most of them were of the two O dubhda Collin's children. Now Dylan was nearing sixteen, and Caitlyn was nearing her tenth birthday as well. And there was a third child in the house now as well. So now there were pictures of the three children of varying ages in various locations, like, Dylan riding his first bicycle, or Caitlin on a carousel at the fair, or of Alara reading one of her mum's books to Enya and Caitlin, and the three of them in front of a Christmas Tree being hugged and kissed by Sean and Enya. There were also pictures of Dylan and his friends, Caitlin and her friends, and Alara and her best and only friend, the next door neighbor, Harry Potter.

Alara Lupin was sleeping in her shared bedroom with her younger cousin Cait at the moment, dreaming of a flying motorcycle landing in the street of Privet Drive,  but she was soon to be awoken, by her aunt Enya, as she had a birthday party to go to today. Dudley Dursley's birthday party in fact. It was beyond her why the incredibly rude, abnoxious and dimwitted, cousin and bully of her best friend and next  door neighbor, Harry Potter took kindly and quite obviously had a crush on the girl, but she figured it could only have something to do, with knowing he had everything Harry didn't... except her. How typical of a boy to try and take a girl as a possession to be stolen from another boy, but as she and Harry knew very well, she didn't belong to anyone, not her aunt, not Harry, and certainly not Dudley Vernon Dursley. The boy was about as bright as an unscrewed light bulb, and ten times as mean as he was round. Not that being on the bigger side was a bad thing, its just along with his personality and intellect, he seemed like the last person Alara would ever go for. Not that she was going for anyone as she was only eleven, but if she were to have a significant other it surely would NOT be Dudley Dursley.

But her aunt wanted her to be kind to the next door neighbor, as Sean still worked at Grunnings, the same place as Vernon Dursley himself worked, and they tried to keep things at the very least civil, so that work parties weren't awkward. And the only reason they were tolerated at all, because of their family history, AKA Alara's parents being of the wizarding community, was because of the fact that Sean was higher up in the company than Vernon, and the fact that as long as no magic was done around them, by the children (Alara and Cait, anyways, as Dylan was a Muggle himself), even though they were they weren't allowed to use magic anyways. And IF and only IF they didn't tell Harry or Dudley about anything magic, or that magic existed, and especially not that Harry himself was a wizard.

And while this had caused a few arguments between Enya and Petunia, and Enya and Alara, the matter was that, they couldn't tell Harry even if they wanted to until he was eleven because of how the statute of Secrecy was worded. And as much as Enya wanted to tell Harry fearing his infamous temper WHEN he found out, she kept her word not to tell him, out of fear that the Ministry would take her away, or even send her to Azkaban for breaking the Statute. So she wouldn't tell him, and would face his wrath... eventually. Hopefully he would see reason... but while she loved him, he could be incredibly thick sometimes.
