The festive atmosphere of the Halloween festivities slowly began to dissipate, and the group of friends decided it was time to call it a night. As Y/n prepared to depart, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness at the thought of leaving them. But as they exchanged their goodbyes, the warmth in their eyes indicated that the connection they shared would remain strong no matter the distance between them.
As Y/n made her way home, she couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the night sky above. The stars twinkled in the darkness, casting an otherworldly glow on the streets below. Y/n took in a deep breath of the crisp autumn air, feeling more alive than she had in a long time. She turned her attention to the world around her, taking in the sights and sounds of the cityscape.
As she walked, Y/n couldn't help but reliving the memories of the night's events. The playful banter with Ness, his subtle flirtations, and the intimacy of their connection still lingered in her mind. It was a feeling she had never fully experienced before, and she found herself longing for more. But at the same time, the thought of losing Ness's friendship also brought her a sense of trepidation.
As Y/n made her way back home, she resolved to treasure the connections she had made and to cherish the bonds that had been formed. She knew that regardless of what the future held, she would always have the memories of this night to fall back on. And with that thought, Y/n arrived home, grateful for the friendships and experiences she had come to cherish in this small yet significant moment in time.
Kaiser shook his head in frustration as he leaned back against the wall, staring up at the darkening sky. His emotions were a mess of conflicting feelings, and he didn't quite know what to do with them. He had been on the verge of giving up hope, of turning his back on this world and everything in it, when Ness had found him with those soft hands. It was almost too much, too soon, but he couldn't deny the warmth that had spread through his chest.
But now, Kaiser was left feeling like he had ruined everything before it even began. He had snatched Ness' ring from him, and had crushed the boy's hopes in the process. He had been too caught up in his own emotions, too lost in his own past to realize what he was doing to Ness.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the Halloween event, Kaiser couldn't help but feel a flicker of jealousy that he couldn't even spend the bare minimum with y/n on this Halloween night. And now he was left wondering if there was any way back. But he had always known that recovery was no easy road, that it would take time and effort to repair the damage he had caused.
He knew that he had to face Ness, that he had to apologize but he knew his mouth cannot form those words, and the thought left a bitter taste in his mouth. He was slightly guilty, but knew it was done. But more than anything, he was afraid of losing y/n, of losing the chance to be with him. He took a deep breath and decided to kill some time by going to the Halloween event. It still had a tad bit of people but he didn't care.
Kaiser wandered aimlessly through the bustling festival grounds, his footsteps crunching on the scattered gravel beneath him. He was surrounded by the sounds of laughter and merriment, but the atmosphere was lost on him. Instead, his mind was elsewhere, trapped in the web of his own thoughts.
As he walked, he felt a small bump behind him and whirled around to find an old lady dressed in a witch's costume. A look of surprise filled her eyes as she fell on the ground and her drink that dropped from her hands, and Kaiser was a tad bit suspicious about this old lady. Especially in Halloween.
With a surprised face, he hesitantly extended a hand to help her up. Keyword: HESITANTLY, muttering an apology that felt alien on his tongue. The lady took his hand and stood, brushing herself off without a word, her expression unreadable and apathetic as she then ran away past him. For an old lady, she still can run.
