Beginning of the week, Monday Morning, 8:50 A.M

Beep! Beep! Beep!

"Ugh", you said, sitting up in bed. Why did I even have that set on the holidays?, you wondered, while you turned off the alarm clock. You got back underneath the comfy, warm covers when you heard the doorbell go off down stairs.

By then, you really didn't care, so you ignored it. You were so, super duper close to getting back to sleep, when you heard a very loud, and probably a very aggravated...

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!, at the door. You groaned as you got up, looking at the clock.

8:58 A.M

You were just about to go back to bed when you heard the front door open and close, and somebody walk up the stairs. Okay, you thought, maybe I do need to get up. You starting to get out of bed, when you heard a KNOCK on your bed room door with some mumbling thrown in.

Now it was your turn to be aggravated. You knew that voice. Why did he always go to ground zero?

"TAILS?!?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE?!?! I TOLD YOU TO ONLY USE THE KEY IN EMERGENCIES?!?!" You shouted from inside your room. You heard something fall. You sighed loudly, getting out of bed, not careing that he was going to see you in your slip/pajamas. You open the door to see Tails sitting on the floor, rubbing his head.

You sighed again, "Tails what are you doing?" You ask him.

"Well yesterday, you told me to come over at 8:45 A.M to make sure you get up for... ummm... something important... wasn't it something to do with (B/F/N)?" But by then you weren't listening, you were running into your room taking off your pajamas, and throwing on your clothes. Your date! You forgot about your date with (B/F/N)!!! You quickly got on some makeup, totally forgetting Tails was standing infront of the door. You look at him, he was just standing there covering his eyes and mumbling under his breath about you needing to stop forgetting to closing the door you change your clothes when people are around, but you didn't care.

"Tails! Stop just standing there and go grab my purse... please?!?!" You tell him. He runs down the stairs to get your purse while you throw you hair into a messy bun. You slipped on your fancy flats and quickly walked down the stairs, where Tails was waiting holding out your purse. You grab it say a quick "thanks" and was right about to leave when you heard Tails say, "Wait, (Y/N)?"

"Yes Tails?" by then you were looking outside through your window, noticing that it was probably going to rain heavily this afternoon, especially in the park, where you were supposed to meet your boyfriend, but you stopped thinking about your date when you saw your best friend's face.

"Hey, Tails, what's wrong?" you ask him, while walking towards him.

"Well, it's just that," he looked at the floor, "I'm going on a trip to East Mobius for a Invention Convention, and I'm actually leaving in twenty minutes, and well, I don't want you to get hurt, okay? I know it's just for a day or two, but something could happen, and, you... could get hurt and..." he started to fumble over his words, but you didn't care, you pulled him into a hug, holding your best friend close to your body.

"It's okay, Tails, everything is okay," you lifted his chin so you were looking eye to eye, "and it will stay that way. You have nothing to worry about." You said in a soothing voice, Tails started to calm down.

"Okay, (Y/N), if you feel that way, then I should feel the same way." You both smiled. There was just a special connection between you guys that you just had to respect.

"Well," you patted his shoulder, "if that's all then, I'll be on my way."

"Yah, you should be, if you don't want to be late." Tails said.

"Bye!" You said. You heard Tails say "Bye." but you were no longer in house listening.

You had a date to attend to.

You walked into the park, making your way towards your favorite spot: the place where you first met him, your perfect boyfriend, it has been a year now, and it was your anniversary...

You were so lost in thought that you didn't notice (Y/B/N) walk up to you.

"Hey, (Y/N)? Heeey? (Y/N)? You there?" He started waving his hand in front of your face.

"Huh? Oh! (Y/B/N)! I didn't know you were there! So. Where are we going for our date? There's a little drizzle, so we should probably do an indoor activity. This is going to be great, because it is our 1 year anniversary." you said with alot of excitement.

"Yeah about that, I was actually thinking about, ummm, us and well..." he looked down at the dirt.

"What's wrong? You look likes you got some bad news. What is it?" You ask. Then it hit you. "No, no, no. You're not breaking up with me, are you?"

All he did was look up at you, "I'm sorry, but I really think we should see other people. Bye, (Y/N)." And then, he left, leaving you alone in the rain. You promised yourself that if this ever happened you wouldn't cry. But you did. You cried in the rain hoping nobody saw you. But you knew that nobody would see you cry.

Because you, were truly, alone.
