Huckleberry Hound was putting on his scarf, hat, earmuffs, and his brand new blue winter vest. Although he did have a blue jacket, he decided that this year, it was time for a change. On this fine morning, he was getting ready to gather up the gang to head to the airport. They had a flight booked for New York City, where they would be spending the Christmas season together. Huck decided to take his puppy dog Pudgy and his kitten Mimi along for the ride, since they both loved looking at sights as much as he did.

"Here, Pudgy! Here, Mimi! We gotta get ready to go!" the hound called.

The puppy and the kitten heard Huck's call, and came running up to him. Pudgy wagged his tail and gave a small happy bark as he jumped up and panted. Mimi showed her joy in a little more subtle way as she rubbed against Huck's legs and began to happily purr.

"Alright, you two in the carrier you go," Huck smiled. "We gotta get ready to head to the airport."

Pudgy hopped into the travel carrier with Mimi following, and Huck closed the latch. He then picked up the cage, along with his suitcase, which was filled with holiday movies on VHS, as well as some of his favorite comic books. He even brought along a bit of peppermint bark in his carry on so that he could have a sweet snack during the flight. Huck wasn't too big on airline food, so he usually preferred to bring his own snack.

Huck soon arrived at the airport, where two of his friends were waiting. Hokey Wolf and Quick Draw McGraw were getting some snacks at a snack shack inside the airport terminal where they were to catch their plane. Hokey was sipping on some hot apple cider and Quick Draw was eating some popcorn with caramel drizzle. Huck made a sneaky smile, and silently sneaked up to the two. Little did they know that Huck was right behind them

"Surprise, fellers!" he cried.

Hokey and Quick Draw yelped, and jumped backwards upon hearing Huck's voice. Their reactions made Huck laugh really hard.

"Huckleberry!" Hokey exclaimed. "Trying to get the ol' drop on us, a little sneaky surprise, huh? Oooh, you clever dog."

"Yeah!" Quick Draw laughed. "You sure surprised us, Huck!"

The three friends laughed, but were interrupted by a familiar greeting.

"Greetings! Salutations, even!" Snagglepuss cried as he walked up to Huck. "Merry Christmas to you my Huckleberry friend!"

"Hiya, Snag!" Huck replied, turning around with a smile. "Glad you're here!"

"Likewise, Huck. I wouldn't dream of spending Christmas without you!"

"Don't forget me!" another familiar voice called out.

Huck turned to his other side to see Mr. Jinks walking up to him and waving.

"Jinksey!" Huck cried. "Hey, you made it!"

"Yep! Still waiting for Yogi though...I swear, let that bear near the food court and you'll never be able to get him to leave..."

Huck giggled and said, "Well, you know ol' Yogi! He loves his food, especially when he can eat a bit of everythin'!"

"Hey everyone!" another voice called out. It was Augie Doggie with his Doggie Daddy.

"Hope we didn't make it here late!" Doggie Daddy shouted.

"Hello there, fellas!" Hokey smiled at the two Doggies. "Glad you two could join the party!"

"We wouldn't wanna miss it!" Augie grinned.

All of a sudden, the dynamic detective cat and mouse duo Super Snooper and Blabber Mouse showed up.
