ED-Racha | Stray Kids FICTION (Plz read description)

One Tuesday off

It was Stray Kids' first day off in a while and Hyunjin decided he would spend it with Felix, talking about their high school days. Maybe They'd try to get ahold of their old friends too? 

Hyunjin knew that Felix was awake since they had been sending each other messages all morning. At this point in time Felix and Hyunjin had almost completely forgotten about how bad high school really was for them. After all, they'd always been told to revisit those memories to see how well they healed. Even though in the back of their heads they knew it would be a bad idea to remember how much happened back then, they agreed to talk about it for the first time in over six years.

They had both eaten breakfast, and Felix made it to Hyunjin's room, and he walked in, he saw Hyunjin sitting on his phone waiting for him. Felix sat down next to him and once Hyunjin put his phone down he sighed. "Last time we even brought up high school was...I don't even remember", Hyunjin laughed looking at his friend(?). "Yea, I've missed it, but it was for the best, at the time, that we just forget it all you know?". "We went through some shit back then." Felix laid back on the bed, looking at Hyunjin. "I miss what we had back then...Do you?" Hyunjin asked, waiting for an answer. Felix smiled and nodded with an expression of longing. "It's a miracle that we're still as close as we are knowing what we know about each other." Hyunjin nodded and looked away for a moment. "...the reason I brought all of this up is because my mom found a box of our old video recordings and mentioned it right before she left." Hyunjin nervously started to bite his bottom lip, peeling off bits of skin as he did so. "Hey! stop that your gonna hurt yourself..." Felix sat up and looked at Hyunjin. "Did she send you any or are you afraid to even look at them?" Hyunjin got up and pulled an old cardboard box out from underneath the bed. "Every single one of them. Well- that we decided not to burn, is in this box." Felix rolled his eyes at the part about burning. "Even the ones that we hid?". "Even those". Felix looked at Hyunjin with an indescribable look in his eyes, remembering the huge change in mood of the videos. Hyunjin smiled, pulling out a disc labeled "How to Bulimia". "Do you remember when we made this? we had smoked a pack and.." Hyunjin paused. "And I decided to teach you how to purge? I remember." Felix couldn't hold back his smile as the memories flooded back into mainstream. "We should..Watch it again" Felix looked at Hyunjin for approval. Hyunjin got up, placing the disc into the player hooked up to the TV in the room. He clicked on the application labeled "Player." and a shot of 9th grade Hyunjin and Felix appeared on the screen inside of Hyunjin's old house. "God, we looked...", "Awful..." Hyunjin and Felix looked at each other right before they heard the instructions start. They listened and remembered how much this one thing affected them both for...the rest of their lives? They watched the video in its entirety and by the end of it they were brought back to that world of high school, blunts, Mental Health issues, and friendship. They were still somewhat in contact with their friends Natallia and Jaxon. Hyunjin had texted them and told them about the discs from back then and they went on to talk about how much they hate and miss back then. Hyunjin laid his phone down and looked at Felix. "Maybe another time we can really talk about it, just not today." Felix put an arm around Hyunjin and embraced him. "We should meet with Natallia and Jaxon next time they come to Korea so we can really talk about it all?" Hyunjin suggested and Felix nodded as they sat in comfortable silence before Hyunjin got up. "Hey, I'm going to get a snack from somewhere. Wanna come with?" Felix smiled and nodded. "As long as we keep it all down."  Felix said before being elbowed playfully by Hyunjin who was laughing as they walked out the door.
