Am I dead? I was confused staring at myself laying in a hospital bed. Flowers on my right in a vase, Aniki sitting to my left crying. "You don't get to leave me like this. We're supposed to have a fight, wake up so we can," He cried while holding my hand. Crying I wanted to give him a hug, anything to show I hear him. My tears only flowed more as my room filled with the others, Tsuji sniffling as he went to my right side. "I promise I'll protect you," He whispered with tears in his eyes. "I'll never stop protecting you, so please come back to me," He cried while grabbing ahold of my hand. "Don't leave me," He cried laying his head against the bed. "You can't leave us a letter, and then leave," Daichi whispered. "Fight! Kumi fight!" Tetsu and Chiharu yelled. "Come back to us kid," Kohaku spoke while taking a step forward. Without warning it felt like I was sucked back into my body, I couldn't see anyone anymore, but I could feel my hands being held with Aniki's voice ringing in my head. "You have to fight. If not for yourself, then for what you care about, those you care about," Aniki's voice rang. He would always tell me that once I came back, especially after the suicide attempt. He was right I have to fight no matter what. Focusing my energy on my hands, feeling my fingers twitch.
"Did you feel that?" Tsuji questioned. "Her fingers twitched," Aniki spoke. "Kumi, can you hear us?" Tsuji questioned holding my hand tighter. "Kumi, if you can hear us squeeze my hand," Aniki spoke holding my hand tighter. Focusing my energy I squeezed his hand lightly. "She squeezed my hand! She can hear us!" He shouted. "I'll get the doctor," Naomi spoke. Hearing the sounds of everyone laughing through tears and hugging each other made me feel happy. I was fighting, I'm not giving up, they don't get to be the end of me. "I was told Ms. Murayama was moving some?" A woman spoke. "Yes doctor, she twitched her fingers and squeezed my hand lightly," Aniki spoke. "Let me take a look at her," The doctor spoke. Focusing my energy again moving my hands and feet. "She's trying to wake up," The doctor stated. She's right I'm trying to wake up, I want to see everyone again. Focusing my energy towards my eyes, feeling everything rush back to me as light flooded my eyes. "How are you feeling?" The doctor questioned while looking at me. Blinking I gave a thumbs us with a small smile. "Good to see you awake Kumi-chan," The doctor spoke before turning to Aniki. "I'll be back later," She stated before leaving.
Looking around the room giving everyone a small smile, as they cried happy tears. "Don't cry," I rasped giving a small chuckle. "Here drink this," Aniki spoke helping me drink water, as Tsuji helped me sit up. "Thank you," I spoke before looking back at everyone. "How long have I been in here for?" I questioned softly. Everyone grew silent at the question, causing me to from before looking over at Kohaku and Tsukumo. "You've been in acoma for a month in a half," Tsukumo stated. "A lot's happened since then," Kohaku quickly added. "A month in a half?" I questioned while looking at Aniki. "It's true," Aniki sighed looking down at the ground. Eveything grew silent again once the door opened, revealing Mighty Warriors. "What are you doing here?" Cobra-san spat. "Guys it's okay," I spoke giving a small smile. "Are you sure?" Aniki questioned. "I'm sure, you guys go to work, go to school, I'll be okay," I spoke softly. Nodding everyone slowly shuffled out of the room, Aniki placing a kiss on my forhead before leaving, and Tsuji placing a kiss on my cheek following Aniki out.
Smiling over at Ryu and them as they walked in, Ryu taking a seat to my right and Ice taking a seat at my left, the others standing at the foot of my bed."When did you wake up?" Ryu questioned. "Fifteen minutes ago," I stated with a smile. "It's go to see you awake," Ice spoke gently patting my arm. "It's good to be awake, I get to see everyone again," I spoke flashing a small smile. "Did anyone get you something to eat or drink yet?" Ryu questioned. "I don't know if I can eat yet, but I drank a little water," I stated while looking at him. "I'll ask the doctor," Sarah spoke before leaving the room. "What's happened since I've been in here?" I questioned. "Ryu is apart of Kuryu now as one of the nine dragons," Ice stated with a smirk. "That's good, you're a step closer to take over now," I spoke flashing him a small smile. "The doctor said you can eat," Sarah spoke as she came back in. "Yes you can it, but let me exaime you first," She spoke walking in. "Gives us the room please," She spoke looking at the others. Nodding they flashed me smiles before leaving the room.
After about thirty minutes the examine was over causing me to breath a sigh of relief. "You should be able to go home in a few days, make sure you rest plenty. You need to eat properly, drink plenty of fluids, rest plenty, and no fighting once you're out of here," She spoke while eyeing me, before leaving. After a few moments Mighty Warriors came back in with a guy I didn't know the name us, and Sarah was missing. "Where's Sarah?" I questioned. "She had some things to take care of," Ice stated with a small smile. Glancing to the new guy with a look of confusion before realization hit me. "Crazy sexy with the tattoos!" I blurted out while pointing at him. Causing everyone to chuckle while looking at me. "Miss kick ass suicidal," He chuckled while pointing at me. "How do you guys know each other?" Diddy questioned. "He was leaving a club and came across me after I beat up a group of guys," I spoke with a smile. "She was standing on the bridge railing about to jump, yelling about how people wouldn't let her die in peace," He finished with a chuckle. "By the way my names Kumi," I stated. "Names Jesse, nice to meet you again Kumi," He spoke giving me a smirk. "When did you get out by the way?" I questioned with a raised brow. "Or did you break out, if so I have a place you can hide," I quickly added with a smile. "I got out three weeks ago, been doing jobs since I got out," He chuckled. "We gotta have a fight once I'm fully recovered. Ice I'm fighting you too," I chcukled softly. "If you can handle me that is," Jesse scoffed. "I don't hit woman," Ice spoke holding up his hands. "Fine, but Jesse I'm kicking your ass," I spoke pointing at him. "We'll see you later you should rest," Ryu spoke before ushering everyone out. "Bye guys see you later," I called after them while waving.
Not long after they left the door opened again revealing Nikaido staring at me. "Come to tie up a loose end?" I questioned with a raised brow. "You aren't a loose end. You served your purpose, and I let you go. I never told them to try to kill you," He spoke walking closer to me. "That's close enough Nikaido," I stated before sighing. "Thank you for coming, but you aren't welcomed here. Please leave and don't come back," I quickly added. "Are you sure you can forget me like that, after everything?" He questioned. "It's not about forgetting, it's about forgiving. I can't forgive you. You took me in, saved me, gave me purpose, trained me, and reunited me with Aniki. I can't forget about that, I'm thankful for it. But you also broke me and I can't forget that either," I stated as my eyes glossed over. "Without me you'd be nothing but another number on the suicide chart," He spat. "Yet with you I lost myself, lost basically everything. With you I became nothing!" I yelled as tears fell from my eyes. "I won't let you forget me, not now not ever," He spat taking strides over to me. "Nikaido leave!" I yelled throwing a pillow at him. "Shut up!" He yelled covering my mouth. Before he could say anything he was pulled away by Ice, who stood between us."You might be paying us, but she's off limits," He spoke glaring at Nikaido. "We'll meet again," Nikaido spat. "Only at the grave will we meet," I stated while eyeing him. He chuckled before leaving, leaving the air in the room thick with tension. "Are you okay?" Ice questioned while looking at me. "I'm fine just tired and hungry," I sighed. "Thank you by the way," I added quickly. "Of course I was coming back for my phone, and when I saw that I had to step in," He spoke flashing a smile. "Well thank you again," I spoke as I relaxed into my bed. "Rest well, we'll check on you again later," He spoke before leaving.
After laying there in silence staring at the ceiling for two hours the door finally opened again. Seeing Furuya standing there holding up a bag of food and drinks while smiling. "I brought you a lemonade, a milkshake, some ramer, and takoyaki," He spoke placing everything in front of me on my little table. "Thank you!" I exclaimed trying to sit up, failing miserably. Chuckling he carefully helped me sit up causing me to smile more. "Aniki and Tsuji sent you didn't they?" I questioned while openeing my food. "Yeah, but I planned on coming back anyways," He spoke with a smile. "They blame themselves don't they," I spoke before starting to eat. "They do but Tsuji blames himself more. I'm afraid he's going to break your heart just to get away from the guilt he feels," He spoke softly. "If he breaks my heart a list of people will break his face," I chuckled. "Murayama, Seki, and I will be first in line," He chuckled. Nodding I finsihed my food and drinks before looking at him. "Stay with me tonight?" I questioned. "Of course Kumi," He spoke while taking things to the trash. Once he was done he came and laid with me. "Thank you Furuya,"I whispered while cuddling into him falling asleep.
