chapter 3

That was a new bag! He had just got it and now it had mustard all over the inside, and his stuff Theo didn't say anything. hes dealt with his fair amount of "bullies", it's best to not say anything. just when he thought they were going to beat him up, he heard a voice as they got closer.

"hey, leave him alone you assholes!" a female voice said. Theo looked to the side to see a dark skinned girl with black hair. her hair covered her eyes. she had headphones around her neck. her outfit was all purple and black, not a trace of any other color. she woke a black body suit and a skirt over it. she woke a lavander crop top on top and some purple fingerless gloves. she had black thigh highs and some purple bottom shoes. she walked in between the boys and theo.

"why hello there little missy" one of the boys said getting closer to her. she rolled her eyes.

"leave him alone wont yah." she said crossing her arms, making the  question sound more like a statement.

"no can do, you see. buddy here needs to know who not to mess with." one said poking theos shoulder.

"let me rephrase that." she said uncrossing her arms. "leave him alone or im going to scream bloody fucking murder and tell people you punched me. got it?" she said and the corners of theos lips curled up into a smile. this girl had some spunk and theo was all for it. the boys rolled their eyes and walked away. the girl sighed and turned around to face theo.

"my names Eden, but you can call me your savior" she said dramatically. theo chuckled lightly and grabbed his bag. he looked into his bag and groaned.

"im theo, the kid with a mustard bag" he said throwing his bag off to the side. there wasnt much in there. he hadnt gotten his chromebook yet and all of his notebooks in there dont have a single thing writen in them.

"sorry about your bag." Eden said looking at it. Theo shrugged.

"it was a piece of shit anyways" theo said brushing his hair back before letting it fall forward again. eden chuckled.

"well, i hope your day gets better." she said. "i gotta get to class" she said waving before turning around, walking away. theo stared into oblivion for a second then shrugged. he walked down the hall, leaving his backpack behind him. he had no use for it now that it was laced with mustard. Theo plopped into his chair, next to Will. the teacher began to talk, and talk, and talk, and talk. never ending rambling on a topic that theo didnt have one care in the world about. theo ended up zoning out, and in that time, the teacher walked over to him.

"do you not have a book?" she asked him, snapping him out of his little daydream.

"um no, someone dumped a bottle of mustard in my bag." Theo said quite loud, earning him a few chuckles. the teacher shook her head.

"the lengths you kids go to not read these days." she said walking away. "i expect you to have a book next time you come to my class theo" she said sitting at her desk. everyone was silently reading. not a sound was made. Will put a paper on theos desk and theo cocked and eyebrow before looking at what the folded paper said on the front.

and with that theo oppened the note.

did someone really put mustard in your bag? nikki wrote and theo quickly responded. passing the note back to will

yeah, it was two little insecure cunts, dont worry about it theo wrote and the noted passed back and forth, not being seen by the teacher once

Theo left his last class of the day without a backpack, without his papers.  he didn't have any homework so that was a plus. he walked to the front of the school, waiting for Nikki. Nikki walked out with Aaron, and Eden? Theo didn't know they knew each other. but now that he's seen it, he understands.

"heeeyyy theo!" Nikki said jumping on him, quickly wrapping him in a hug.

"Hey Nikki, Aaron, Eden. how's it going?" Theo said looking at them all.

"you know eden?" Aaron said and theo nodded.

"she saved my ass earlier" he said and eden chuckled.

"you bet i did" she said and they both kinda laughed at it.

"so they are your knite in shining armor" Nikki said nudging him.

"you mean my knite in purple armor?" Theo said and Aaron instantly looked at eden and pointed at theo.

"SEE!" Aaron went into a coughing fit then when he cought his breath he spoke softer."I'm not the only one who noticed that!" he said chucking and eden rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, its hard not to notice a puffy haired purple blob" theo said and Aaron laughed as Nikki elbowed him. "whatever, let's go" theo said and they began walking.

"Hey, do you think your dad will mind if we come over?" nikki asked and theo thought for a second. he knows his dad WILL get mad. he knows it won't have the best outcome. but fuck it. rules are ment to be broke. they continued walking down the street. they stopped at a near by subway and sat inside for a while. Eden and Theo just sorta clicked and were best friends from the get go. them being best friends also ment that she got to see his awkward really emo phase that nikki absolutely adored and cherished. They were sitting there and all the sudden Theos phone rang. when he saw who it was he answered no hesitation.

"HEY LIAM" Theo said waving at the camera. it was a video call. when nikki heard the name she practically jumped across the table and scooted next to theo and waved.

"HI THEO, HEY NIKKI! ITS BEEN FOREVER SINCE I SAW YOU LAST!!! WE HAVE SO MUCH TO TELL YOU"  the boy across the screen said. soon a girl popped into frame and she did a peace sign then went back off screen.
