We sit on my bed, tapestries and posters covering the walls. I redecorated and cleaned just in time for her to come over. I grab the light blue colored pipe next to my bed and a lighter.
"It still has some left in it, should be enough. You do it like this," I instruct, lighting the top and taking a big hit. Too big. I start coughing a bit while she laughs at me.
"Laughing at me, huh?" I ask, handing her the pipe. "Then you try, big guy."
She follows what I did and takes a big hit out of the bong and even harder than me, she starts coughing.
I get up to grab a cup of water for her, running a black mug under the sink. When I return, she's taking another hit already. Before she can start coughing, I hand her the water.
"Thank you," she says. She stops for a moment and looks up to me from the bed. "Woah..."
"Kicking in?" I ask, sitting on the other side of the bed.
"Yeah, a little."
——
I take few hits before handing it back to her. And soon enough, we're definitely not sober.
"Oh, I got this game from Stephen, wanna play?"
"Yeah!" She smiles. I grab it from my night stand and open the box. I lay against the wall on the side of the bed and she sits against the pillows up top. Our knees touch just enough for me to feel butterflies.
I take out the first card, reading it aloud. "What's your favorite color?"
"Hm... tough one. Maybe just straight up black?"
"Blacks a good color, it goes with anything," I agree.
"Right?!" she giggles along.
She draws a card and looks up to me. "Favorite food?"
"Another hard one," I chuckle. "Hm... cant go wrong with a good burger."
She laughs at me as we continue the small questions.

Bold for Kim, Italics for Seth.
What's the most spontaneous thing you've ever done?
I once got a tattoo of a heart because I had a crush. Thankfully I didn't get an initial since I was rejected.
(We laugh together. It's definitely kicked in as we giggle to each other with every question. )
What's your biggest regret?
Dating Scott!
(We both lose it at that. )
If your life was a movie, what would it be called?
Weird question? I guess... Sarcastic Red-Heads.
If you could have any talent, what would it be?
Oh! Uh... Art maybe? I can barely draw a stick man!
Me too!
(We giggle to ourselves about how bad we are at anything artistic. )
What do you find hot in a person?
"Oh, I laugh. Sorry, I guess all of the normal ones are over now. We can stop if you want," I say, grabbing the used cards to put back in the box.
"Confidence, taller than me, and hm.. protective," she thinks for a second before saying the last one.
"Anyone's taller than you!" I laugh, putting down the card.
"Heyyyy!" She groans out with a smile on her face, barely able to keep her eyes open at this point.
"Are you tired?" I ask.
"Nooo... she mumbles. Just really... really... high." We laugh together at her extended speech. She's so cute. "Keep going."
"It's your turn!" I reply.
"Oh. Oops." She grabs a card slowly but surely. "Tell me about your first time."
"Oh, god," I groan. "My last ex, Jason, complete douche right. He couldn't even make me come, isn't that so stupid!"
She laughs back, "Mine wasn't any better."
"Oh god, what happened?" I inquire.
"It was so bad... It was just a hookup with a friend at the time and... and... she was just so slowwww..."
"She?" I asked, surprised. Does she like women? Do I have a chance?
"Oh... yeah," She chuckles. "I don't really... like guys all that much. But- don't worry! I'm not here to hook up with you!"
"Calm down, we both like girls here," I laugh. I throw myself beside her on the bed as she laughs with me and draws another card. I totally have a chance.
She looks at it, covering her face with her other hand out of embarrassment. "God this one..."
"Break it to me."
"Uh... Have you ever had a wet dream?" She chuckles, amused at the question. "God, these are weird."
I smile at that, a little embarrassed myself. "Oh god, now i'm embarrassed. Yeah... I even had one last night.."
She laughs hard for a long while, almost crying. "Was it good?"
"Don't laugh!" I shout, smiling too. "And yeah. Really good."
"Okayyy okay... your turn, freckle face," she smirks at me.
"Heyyyy," I coo while pulling a card. "What are your... turn ons."
"Straight to the big ones, huh?" She laughs.
"We're almost done!"
"Okayyyy... well.... um, again, tall girls."
"Mhm," I reply, listing them in my head just in case.
"Teasing...eye contact, confidence, and anything to do with my neck."
I smile, "Those are all good ones."
"You?" She asks, looking up at me with a smirk.
"Oh uh... eye contact, breathing on my neck for sure... oh and hair pulling I guess?" I reply, pretty much thinking out loud.
"Good ones, too!" She grins up at me, pulling out the last card. "What are your love languages?"
I count on my fingers, "physical touch, gift giving, and quality time." I put the cards back into the box as she lays there almost completely out of it.
"You don't seem like a physical touch person. I thought you were trouble when we first met!"
"Haha, yeah," I chuckle nervously. "I like it when it's someone I love."
A moment passes of Seth definitely trying to stay awake now.
"Bathroom," she mumbles.
"Need help getting there?" I smirk. She's gone.
"M...hm."
I get up, helping her out of the bed. I hold her hand as she stumbles along. I'm holding her hand.
"Kimmm," she groans. "Am I supposed to feel all woozy?"
"Yes, Seth. You are. You're okay," I chuckle as she stumbles.
"I feel funny. Am I talking weird?" She looks up at me, eyes pretty much closed.
"Yes, you are. You have been for a solid hour now. It's normal," I say as she continues to stumble.
"Am I dying?"
"No!" I exclaim as I open the door to the bathroom. "Do you have it from here?"
"God, I hope so..."

About 5 minutes pass as I wait outside the door. I can hear her stumbling, but every time she does, she shouts "I'm okay!"

She likes girls... tall girls... if i play my cards right, she might like me. (she already really does. she's been all giddy and excited tonight because she's with Kim) I hope she comes to like me. I've finally found someone who doesn't think i'm just a mean drummer. She sees me as someone.

Suddenly, the door opens.
"Take me back to your bed, please," she grumbles. Back we are to the stumbling across the hall. She's doing a bit better than before, but still needs help.
"You need help on the bed?" I ask her.
"Miss physical touch," she looks up at me, gripping my hand harder. "Can I have a hug?" My face turns a bit red at the question.
"Is the depression high starting?" I ask, chuckling again. God, this time i'm really giggly.
"Yeahhhhh," she groans.
"Come here," I say, slightly leaning down to her and wrapping her in a big hug. She still smells of vanilla... And I get to smell that all night. As soon as I let go, she hugs me harder.
"I needed this," she mumbles.
"Me too."
She lets go, climbing onto the bed, almost falling multiple times. I lay down beside her, us both getting underneath the blankets for warmth.
She turns over and lays her head on my collarbone. My face beats red. No way this is happening.
"Kim," she mumbles.
"Yeah?" I reply, wrapping my arm around her. This is nice. I love this.
"Can I tell you something no one else in Toronto knows?"
"What's that?" I ask, rubbing her arm with my hand that's wrapped around underneath her.
"Seth's my middle name... it's really Colette," she says, the french accent finally emerging.
I wrap my other arm around her, placing my hand on her back. "That's a pretty name. Why do you go by Seth?"
"I needed a fresh start from Avignon. I didn't start using it until I moved out, I only had my family since I was homeschooled."
"I understand. What was Av... ion like?"
"Avignon," she chuckles. Her heart beats to a beautiful rhythm as she lays on my side. "It's pretty.... and full of history. It's really medieval looking."
"You lived in a real life fairy tale.."
"I did...." We sit in silence as I rub her arm. Her breathing slows, drifting off to sleep. "You can call me Colette."
"Mkay, Cole," I smile.
She mumbles to herself softly, "je pense... que je t'aim Kim." She quickly dozes off in my arms.

Im holding the prettiest girl in my arms. Vanilla lingers in the air, my new favorite smell. I can't help myself from it, so I place a light kiss onto her head.
