Indecisive

Chapter 1

Isabel Florentino! someone yelled. I turned around and saw the principal waving her hand with a paper. I smiled but in my mind, I knew I was going to be annoyed. She approached me and so I spoke.

"Ms. Schwartz, how can I help you?"

"What a lovely day, we have a new student arriving, and as the senior class president you must show him around and tell him how much you love West Wilson High School."

I laughed at the notion as she gave me a nod and yelled "He will be here in 3 days so be ready. The paper said Jackson Bandero and I rolled my eyes and knew I had to introduce myself and give them a fake persona of why he should love it here. "GO BEARS" yelled Kayley as she approached me.

WHAT THE HELL! Where did you come from?? I said as Kayley hovered over me. Kayley laughed and said, "I am here I am there I am everywhere." I shot her a look and she laughed and said "Fine I was heading towards the restroom but I overheard the conversation so I hid behind this wall right here. "Anyways who is this mystery student Ms.Class president?" I sat there and thought to myself as well. It won't hurt if I look at his information right? So I looked at the paper, his name is "Jackson" I said.
"Jackson what? Give me a name or something! I have to see if he's cute just by the sounds of his name!"

I laughed "C'mon we have study hall and then our presentation in a couple of days."

As we entered the room everyone was in their world as we saw Issac talking to a girl. As soon as he saw us his face lit up and yelled "Guys over here! I'm just talking to Adriana. She's got some scoop about the new kid. She claims he will change our world especially Isabel's."
"You know that would be perfect! She will finally live her life besides school and her family."

I shot daggers at Kayley as I knew what she was hinting at. I knew deep down she was right. I only had made my life two things. School and Family and friends occasionally. This was usually what I had control over and that is why I managed it the way I did. I was afraid if things were different everyone would leave me. I was never good at anything else, hell not even friendships but I was able to manage Kayley and Issac. Maybe if I was different this time things could be different? I'm not sure! Had I missed out on so much because of my fears?

"So, Jackson Bandero! Rumor is he's 6ft tall, has brown hair that is to his side, deep brown eyes that you want to get lost in, and has a personality that will have you going crazy. Anyone can fall for him, but of course, he will only like the girl he chooses to like" said Adriana as she seemed so excited to meet Jackson.

Kayley asked with so much concern "So why do you think he's moving to our school? I wonder why it's so random it's the last year of high school and transferring is just a crazy idea!"

"It says he's transferring because his family lives closer in the area. Before you ask me how I know this, I have my ways so trust me I know everything."

I laughed and said "You're making it seem like he's the most amazing guy out there! He is probably some guy that likes to make girls fall for him and then later questions why they fell for him."

"Isabel!!" they all yelled. "I'm just saying if you want to all like him go ahead! I have no issue but you all make it seem as if you know when you don't! I'll say something when I officially meet him!"

"Then please do say something I'd love to see who is the one talking about me! I swear I'm not that bad. I'm a great guy maybe once you get to know me. Yet it seems you already have some idea of who I am" A voice said behind me.

Everyone nudged at me and directed their eyes behind me as a large figure engulfed my presence.

I turned around and my eyes widened "I'm Jackson! Seems like the word has gotten out that I'm transferring here. I believe you're the class president they sent me here to find you so that you can show me around the school."

I stood up "I believe you have 3 more days to be here before I have to show you around."

"You know you're pretty sassy from the sounds of it. Hey, that's okay I like that. Maybe I can get a good laugh out of you. Unless that's too much Ms.President? By the way, I'm here early because I want to have everything situated when I come in on my official day and my siblings are registering as well"

"Sassy?? I'm just speaking my mind! Don't get your hopes up on me" as I stared up talking to him. I continued presenting myself confident and unfazed by his demeanor. Who did he think he was?? I knew he was going to be in trouble so my best decision was going to be to keep away from him. I just have to deal with showing him around and then he will figure out the rest.

"Hmm, I wouldn't be so surprised when we end up getting along. You'll be daydreaming of me soon"

"No, no I won't! Hurry up the faster I show you around the faster I can get to things I need to do."
I left my friends and let the teacher know about where I was going.
"Isabel go ahead and do what needs to be done!" as she smiled. However, she saw the big presence behind me and that's when she said "What a lovely young man! Is he new? Wow he compliments you so we-"

"Yeah we were just leaving I'm going to show him around and he's in a bit of a hurry!"

"No, I'm not! I would love to spend time with you as he glared at her name tag. Ms. Thatcher. Isabel is just always rushing. Never living life just sheltered."

My face got red and at that point, I just wanted to beat his a** but I had to restrain myself. "It's not that! I'm just so delighted to show you the school. Being alone with you is just a dream you know? It's such a different atmosphere!"

His eyebrows raised and he seemed intrigued. Ms. Thatcher laughed and we went on our way.
