You rushed into the street of the fake city, peoples beat up bodies scattered around, one massive robot looming over them.
"Run!" You shouted to the would be students behind you, as if they weren't already.
Before you turned back to the massive robot, it sent your body flying into a building.
"FUCK!" You shouted as you felt your quirk envelop you.

When you felt your quirk retreat from covering you, the massive robot was completely destroyed in front of you, all the people had been moved and the ones who remained had a look of terror on their faces.
All aimed at you.

It'd been 2 months since then.
You'd missed the first day recovering from the huge physical strain that overuse of your quirk caused you.
During the week you just lay in bed at home, playing games, talking to your friends, well, friend.
Izuku Midorya.
He was your only friend in school, everyone else got weirded out by your quirk.
He wasn't though, he had a pretty cool quirk too "pyrokenesis" he can create and manipulate fires.
His quirk developed quite late, no more than a year after everyone else, which even to this day he got ridiculed for. Mainly by Katsuki Bakugo, one of the first to have their quirk develop in your first school, his quirk was "explosion".
Anyways, now that you'd recovered fully, you were getting ready for your first day at UA.
You look at the mirror in the bathroom after doing your teeth. You run your index and middle fingers together along your right side of your collar bone and neck, where your quirk has scarred you as a child, permanently taking place over your skin.
You left the bathroom, grabbed your bag and left the house, waving a goodbye to your mother through the window.
You, Bakugo and Izuku were the first to make it into UA from your Junior High.
You and Bakugo in 1-A, Izuku in 1-B.

At UA, you have the legally mandated regular classes, English, science, maths, those sorts of things, then lunch.
Lunch is in the main cafeteria, where the food is cooked my Lunch Rush, one of the many pro hero's who works at UA.
Not knowing anyone else, you sat down with Izuku, who was sat alone. A bit later, two other students from your class sat down with the two of you.
"Hi Deku." The brown haired girl, Uraraka, said to Izuku.
You were quite on edge from this, since "Deku" is what Bakugo called Izuku to ridicule him. It seems He noticed this, telling you how "It's ok [Y/N], she's a friend and I said she could call me that."
Apparently Shota Aizawa, 1-A's homeroom teacher, convinced Sekijiro Kan, 1-B's homeroom teacher, that the classes should both skip Orientation and instead test the students physical capabilities with their quirks, and that's how Izuku became friends with Uraraka and the other one who sat down with her, a boy with glasses called Tenya Iida.
"You're [L/N], right?" Uraraka asked, turning towards you.
"Yeah, [Y/N] [L/N]" you said after finishing the burger you'd gotten for lunch today.

The after lunch, lessons are for course related topics. Since 1-A is the hero course, hero lessons, ranging from training to strategy to quirk appraisal.
Today was hero training.
"I AM HERE! COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A HERO!" All might exclaimed, throwing open the door of the classroom wearing his silver age suit.
The entire class burst into gasps and comments about how it's really All Might, how they can't believe he's actually teaching here, how he's wearing a classic suit.
You were one such person.
The only person who didn't engage was Bakugo, but he still had a look of wonder and a glint in his eye upon seeing the No. 1 hero.
"Welcome to the most important class at UA High! You can think of it as HEROING 101!" He exclaimed in his on brand loud voice. "Here you will learn the basics of being a pro and what if means to fight in the name of good! Let's get into it! Today's lesson will pull no punches! One of the keys of being a hero is: LOOKING GOOD! These were designed for you based on your quirk registration forms and the request you sent in before school started!"
Everyone burst into cheers and screams of joy.
"Get yourself suited up and meet me at trading ground BETA!" All might said before everyone raided the racks for their suits and ran off to change.

Everyone started walking out of the fusing rooms at the same time, when the first few people got out to the fake city, All Might started talking, "They say that Clothes make the Pros ladies and gentlemen, and behold you are the proof! You all look so cool! So shall we get started you bunch of newbies?!" He asked.
You were split into teams of two, then each team was assigned hero or villain, then each hero team was paired with a villain team.
The villain team hide a bomb inside the building, and the hero team have to locate and neutralise it, or capture both villains to win. The villains have to capture or defeat the hero's to win.
After lots were pulled the teams were:
You and Uraraka
Shoji and Todoroki
Mineta and Yaoyorozu
Bakugo and Iida
Ashido and Aoyama
Koda and Sato
Kaminari and Jiro
Tokoyami and Asui
Ojiro and Hagakure
Sero and Kirishima
Having bonded over lunch, you felt confident in Uraraka and your ability to work as a team.
The first match:
You and Uraraka Vs Bakugo and Iida.

Everyone else left to a monitoring room, whilst Bakugo and Iida hid the bomb and you and Uraraka waited outside.
"Ok, I'll use my quirk to try and find the bomb, once I find it, you get us up to the floor it's on. I'll try to hold off Iida and Bakugo, whilst you try to get the bomb out of the building. If it's on a high floor then try and get it to the roof, but if it's on a low floor move it to here. Got it?" You said, informing Uraraka of your plan.
"Ok, how does your quirk work? You know about mine but how yours works might be useful information." She asked.
"My quirk is Blackwhip, I can produce these energy tendrils from myself, then control them. They're sentient themselves so I can use them for recon." You tell her.
The sentience comes from your mother's "hivemind" quirk.
"ALRIGHT! LETS BEGIN THE INDOOR COMBAT TRAINING! TEAM A, TEAM D, YOUR TIME STARTS NOW!" All Might says over an intercom system built into the fake city.
You plunge your hands to the ground as several tendrils slink across the floor into the building, from there they travel across the walls and floor and ceiling all over the building.
After about a minute, you hear an explosion followed by an immense pain in one of the tendrils "AHH! Fuck!" You say, trying to keep your cool.
"[Y/N]! Are you ok?" Uraraka asks, crouching next to you and holding you, her left thumb rubbing your left shoulder.
"I'm fine, thanks." You say, recalling the tendril that was harmed and restarting it.
After a bit, you find the bomb and recall all the tendrils. "Found it! Bakugo is on the 2nd floor, Iida is with the bomb on the 5th"
