It's Ok.. (Frilled Pearl)

Nobody's POV:
"Ahh...a beautiful pristine day as always." Frilled Jellyfish Cookie sighed happily as she felt the sea currents against her face. Frilled Jellyfish has always been a sweet, kind soul. Even after "the incident." She may have lost her memory, but her pureness remains.

A jellyfish swam over to greet Frilled Jellyfish. "Oh, hello there, George!" she giggled happily as she patted the jellyfish's squishy head. "Wonderful morning we're having today!" She watched as George bounced around from her affection.

George then turned toward the other direction. "What is it, George?" Frilled Jellyfish asked. He turned back to her. It seemed like there was something that he wanted to show her.

Frilled Jellyfish began to follow her jellyfish friend, curious about what he wanted to show her. "I'm excited on what you're gonna show me!" she said happily. After a while of swimming, Frilled Jellyfish began to notice that her surroundings have started to look more gloomy and dark. This made the mermaid feel a bit worried.

"Um...where are we? This place seems a bit...suspicious..." she said, looking around this unusual environment. George looked at her and bounced around. Frilled Jellyfish always trusted her jellyfish pals. "Oh..alright..." she replied.

Then all of a sudden, Frilled Jellyfish felt herself randomly black out.

Moments Later:

"Ngh...where am I?" Frilled Jellyfish muttered as her periwinkle coloured eyes opened. She sat up, realizing she was in a small cage. "Huh? How did I get here?" she asked herself. All she remembered was swimming around with one of her jellyfish friends, and then feeling herself pass out sometime afterwards. This was very strange indeed.

"Why am I in a cage?" she asked, as she held onto the cold iron bars of the cage. She then saw a figure of what seems to be another fellow mermaid from outside of the cage. "Maybe she can help me out of here?" she wondered.

The mermaid heard Frilled Jellyfish's voice and turned towards her. "Oh, she's finally awake." the mermaid said, swimming towards Frilled Jellyfish.

As she got closer, Frilled Jellyfish noticed that it was her old pal, White Pearl Cookie. But, from what she remembered,something seemed off about her....Her eyes and dough were more bluish, and her tail was black, and she was wearing a different outfit than what she usually wore.

"Why hello there, fellow Cookie." White Pearl smirked. "It seems like you have wandered into the depths of the abyss." White Pearl giggled a bit. Frilled Jellyfish was so confused on what was going on. But she was still happy to reunite with someone she hasn't seen in years.

"M-my lady." Frilled Jellyfish said in her soft, innocent voice. "It's been forever since we last saw eachother!" White Pearl Cookie rolled her eyes. "Yeah yeah, whatevs. And don't "my lady" me like that, ok?" Frilled Jellyfish sighed. "Oh, ok. I'm sorry..." she said, looking downwards, before looking back up at White Pearl. "Anyways, is there any way you can at least um...help me out of this cage?"

White Pearl didn't answer that, and instead just chuckled sinisterly. "Oh, well I put you in there for a reason." she smirked. Frilled Jellyfish didn't know what this "reason" was. In fact, this is the first time they ever saw one another in person in God knows how long, but regardless, she apologized. "I'm sorry if I did anything wrong..."

White Pearl kept her back turned and huffed. "Oh dear, you sweet, naive, son of a b*tch.." she smirked. Frilled Jellyfish gasped. "White Pearl Cookie, that's not a very nice word to say..." she said, in disbelief that her precious White Pearl would ever say a curse word.

"White Pearl Cookie? Nah! That's all in the past now. You may now refer me as the Duskgloom Sovereign, Black Pearl Cookie!" she turned to Frilled Jellyfish. "You hear me?" Frilled Jellyfish said nothing, and just nodded.

Frilled Jellyfish sat in her cage. "So, how has life been?" she asked, trying to at least brighten the mood. "Oh, just my usual." Black Pearl replied. "Teaching those foolish two legged Cookies a lesson for what they did to me. Those mortals bring nothing but despair and betrayal." she laughed sinisterly.

"What do you mean?" Frilled Jellyfish asked. Black Pearl just looked at her and fidgeted with her trident. "Ever since that traitor of a being had lied to me, manipulated me, gaslighted me, URGH! I will never forget what they did..."

"Huh?" Frilled Jellyfish said, she felt like she should be knowing what Black Pearl meant, but she lost a lot of her memory from when she got shot by the harpoon.

"You don't understand, do you?" Black Pearl snarled. Frilled Jellyfish shook her head. "Yeah, you obviously don't. Ever since they took everything from me, even my pearl. Life was never the same since. I just can't forgive them! I just can't! They must perish for the constant sorrow that they left me in!"

Black Pearl started to get more enraged with every word she said, as she grasped onto one of the bars on Frilled Jellyfish's cage. Frilled Jellyfish tried her best to at least calm her down, but she couldn't. "White P- I mean, Black Pearl Cookie, it's gonna be ok...calm down...please."

Black Pearl didn't listen, and didn't seem to bother that she was starting to upset Frilled Jellyfish. "NO IT'S NOT!" Black Pearl screamed, abrasively smacking her staff against the cage, causing Frilled Jellyfish to yelp.

"You don't understand, you just don't..." Black Pearl breathed heavily. She looked down at her trident, noticing there was a bit of blood on it. She looked back up at Frilled Jellyfish and her eyes widened in fear.

Frilled Jellyfish was crying silently, clenching her arm as blood oozed all over her shoulder. She must've hit the cage so hard that the tip of her staff went in between the bars and pierced her dough.

"Ow..ow..." Frilled Jellyfish sobbed silently. Black Pearl started to feel awful. Even with all the hatred she had dealt with for so long, she kept her soft spot for Frilled Jellyfish hidden. "Frilled Jellyfish Cookie..." she stuttered. "I'm so..sorry..."

Frilled Jellyfish turned to her tearfully. "It hurts so bad..." she sobbed. Black Pearl didn't know what to say, as she started tearing up as well. "I'm so sorry, I was just so upset, I didn't know what I was thinking! I didn't mean to hurt you I swear!"

"It's ok..." Frilled Jellyfish sniffled. Her shoulder still hurted badly. "Here, I'll get you out and bandage you up." She gently took her out of the cage, gently holding her in her arms. She found some bandages from inside a nearby shipwreck and gently put one on Frilled Jellyfish's shoulder. She looked up at Black Pearl. "Thank you, my lady." she sniffled, wiping away her leftover tears.

Black Pearl then felt something poke her tail. "Who is this?" she asked, looking down at the small jellyfish. Frilled Jellyfish smiled, "George, there you are!" she giggled, as he hopped over to the two mermaids.

"I'm guessing this is another one of your cute lil jellyfish friends?" she asked as Frilled Jellyfish hugged him. "Yup!" she nodded.

"He must've noticed me earlier and wanted to bring you to me." Black Pearl said. George bounced happily. "It's so good to see you again, I missed you so much!" she said as she hugged her.

Black Pearl blushed and replied with "I missed you too, my love."
