Two oneshots about Strawberry Crepe Cookie in a row! Holy Moly! Just a fun platonic oneshot in honor of Strawberry Crepe Cookie FINALLY getting a magic candy.
Espresso Cookie's POV:
It was 7 am and I was working at the Creme Republic, doing my usual research. I was so invested, that it took me a bit to realise that there was someone calling for me.
"Hey? Espresso Cookie?"
I snapped out of my thoughts and turned to see who it was. It was Strawberry Crepe Cookie. "I called you like 2763 times.." they whined in an overdramatic matter. I scratched my head. "Yeah, kiddo. I know, I'm sorry." I huffed.
Strawberry Crepe looked behind me, curious on whatever I was doing that I was unawarely ignoring them for. "Hey, what's that?" they asked. Strawberry Crepe pointed towards the ingredients behind me used for the Magic Candies that I make.
"Oh, those are what I use to make Magic Candies." I replied. Strawberry Crepe's eyes twinkled with curiosity. "Wow, amazing! Is it possible for me to have a Magic Candy of my own?" they asked. "I always wanted a Magic Candy! They're so cool!"
"Hmm, that doesn't seem so bad." I thought to myself. "Well, luckily I have plenty." I said, picking up some of the ingredients and handing it to them. "Thanks." they said. "Also, the reason why I was calling for you earlier is because I needed to ask you about something."
They reached into their poncho and pulled out my phone. "How did you get my phone?" I asked in shock. "You accidentally left it at the Wafflebot Hangar when you were helping me with one of my projects last night. Anyways, a specific photo that you had on your phone had recently caught my eye. So, can you tell me about this?"
Strawberry Crepe opened the Photos app and showed me this pic that happened to be in my camera roll at the time.

I just took my phone back and sweated nervously. "It was...just a phase I had once..." I didn't know how to respond to that.
Strawberry Crepe shrugged their shoulders as they smiled at me. "Welp, ok then! I'm gonna go try this out at the Institute of Thaumaturgy! Nice talking to you!"
I waved as they headed out of my laboratory. "No problem Strawberry Crepe Cookie!" I said. "Good luck on creating your Magic Candy!" I sighed and continued working on my research.
