When we arrive at the hospital, the doctors are very hectic. When I ask what's wrong, they tell me that they don't have the right blood group for the green-eyed young man.

I immediately offer to donate my blood to the nurse. The nurse just gives me a dirty look and asks if I have a negative blood group. I answer yes, which surprises her. Follow me, we'll take your blood very quickly otherwise the patient probably won't make it. After my blood was taken, I called my mum so she wouldn't have to worry. After a long wait, the doctor said that he had made it and that I could see him if I wanted to. At first I'm sceptical about greeting a complete stranger, but somehow I'm curious. Besides, I've saved his life.

When I enter his room, I see four men dressed in black in his room, with whom he is shouting aggressively. He even hurls insults at them. Oh no. Maybe it's better if I just leave. It's only too good that he already sees me and tells me to come in.

What the hell, I might as well just introduce myself. With a wave of his hand, he sends the four men out. Now it's just the two of us in one room and the door closes behind us.

Without waiting too long, I start talking.

Mia: I saved your life, I just wanted to say. Just for your information, you could have died.

You don't have to give me anything or anything. But if I hadn't seen you on the floor and stopped your bleeding, you'd already be dead. My blood is flowing inside you right now, that's why you're alive. You seem to have the same blood type as me. Congratulations, we can only receive our own blood type.

This guy is so funny too, he just grins at me like a complete idiot the whole time. Now that that's sorted, I wish you a speedy recovery, I'm going home now.

Just as I'm about to leave the room, I hear his voice. Please stop, I owe you one. I can transfer money to you.

I don't know why, but somehow I'm starting to feel disgusted by this pretty boy. What am I supposed to do with his money? Listen to me, I don't need your fucking money, what I've done, everyone does it for free because it's human. Anyone would act in an emergency situation and certainly wouldn't ask for money for it. Get well soon and goodbye. Wait, what's your name, the boy with green eyes asks me. My name is Mia. Just Mia. He looks at me for a long time until he says you can go.

Guys like him look good but have a shit character at the end.

When I leave the hospital, I make my way home. The streets in New York are full and noisy even in the evening. This city is simply alive at all hours.

When I get home, I immediately lie down because tomorrow is school and tomorrow is not my 19th birthday. My 19th birthday isn't always that important. I'm kind of looking forward to my birthday tomorrow, even though I don't have any friends who would celebrate it with me. I'm much more looking forward to the cake my mum is making me for my birthday. It's my favourite cake. A delicious chocolate cake that I love from my mum everywhere. Tired, I move around in bed until I quickly fall asleep again, until something wakes me up in the middle of the night.

My mum comes into my room and sings Happy Birthday Mia very loudly.

I love you so much mum. I know my child, I've baked you a nice moist chocolate cake, shall we eat it now? I'm sure I won't be told twice, Mum. I take a good slice and can't help but take a second slice. You can eat cake even when you're on a diet and you don't have to give up anything. You just have to look at how many calories you need to eat per day. But today is my birthday and I'm definitely not counting calories.

When I get up in the morning, I quickly grab a piece of cake for school. I just love this cake.

After the break starts, I get a piece of cake before I can take a bite, I see Jakob who takes the piece in his hand and takes a bite himself. Eneda laughs out loud, of course. As if this humiliation wasn't enough, Jakob throws the other half of the cake on my face.
I take it in my stride and simply walk in a different direction.
