The Start Of It All

Percy POV

It was another good morning and another good day.

Today will be the last day of High School and then off to my dream life of being a superstar. A pop star.

Everyone will be screaming my name. Percy!Percy!Percy!Percy!"Percy! Come down for breakfast!" yelled my mom.

"Mom! I was having the best daydream ever!"I complained. Then I heard a familiar voice say"If you don't come down you won't get any blue cookies".

After that, I was racing down the stairs.

Not just because the blue cookies were counting on me, but because the voice who said was my all-time crush and my best friend, Annabeth,

Gods, she was gorgeous. She looks like an angel with her curly, blonde hair.

"Um, Percy? You're staring...and drooling" she said

"HM, oh sorry".Gosh, that was embarrassing.

I looked around at my surroundings to see if anyone else was awake. I heard giggling from behind me and I just knew it was my little siblings.

My mom gave birth to three kids. Me first of course, then my little brother Tyson who is 5 years old. Two years after Tyson was born came my little sister, Estelle, who is currently 3 years old.

I asked my mom"Hey Mom, where are Estelle and Tyson? I can't find them anywhere".

More giggling came from behind me.

My mom replied"Hm, I don't know honey. Did you check in their rooms?"

Even more giggling.

I looked at Annabeth to keep the game going.

"What?" she said as she realized I was looking at her"How am I supposed to know where they are?"

I just love how fun Annabeth can be. I mean I felt like I'd known her forever. Well, I have known her forever.

Annabeth and I met when we were 2 weeks old because our mothers were best friends. Soon enough our parents moved in next to each other.

We took baths together too(and not because we wanted to). We practically lived together our whole lives and now we are 17 almost 18.

I called their names a few times, even though I knew where they were.

Then all of a sudden, Estelle and Tyson came out from behind me.

"Here we are," they said in unison.

I grabbed both of them in my arms and pretended to eat them."Hmm mm, yum yum yum" I said," You will make a tasty breakfast".

I kinda hurt my throat saying that because I was using my gremlin voice that Annabeth hates hearing, so she was kind of scrunching up her nose in hatred.

After we ate breakfast, me and Annabeth( I put "me and Annabeth" because...well it's Percy) were on our way to school.

Our houses were a 1-2 minute walk from the school so we just walked to and from school every day.

"So" she started to say.

"So," I said

I looked at Annabeth and saw she had this sad look on her face and that she was about to cry.

"Hey Hey Hey, what's wrong?" I asked her

She was starting to cry aloud.

"I'm going to miss you, Seaweed Brain," she said in between sobs.
