Percy's POV

After a few days after our first kiss, I brought together all my courage and told Annabeth about my feelings toward her.

Turns out she feels the same way.

And I ended up asking her on a date.

And that date is today and I'm going to be late.

I can't be late!

 Annabeth will tease me nonstop for being late to our first date if I'm late.

I rushed to wear a nice pair of clothing and ran out the door.

Phew!

I made it just in time.

10 minutes early actually.

I got on my phone to call Annabeth and she said she would be out in a minute.

More like 15 minutes.

I waited for her and was surprised when she came out in a minute.

I looked at her while she got in the car.

"Don't be so surprised Seaweed Brain, I can be on time when I want to be". she said responding to my facial expression.

I just shrugged and drove away.

Annabeth POV

" Oh My Gods, Percy! Stop it! You can't even sing!" I chuckled.

Percy looked at me offended " Um, did you forget something? Famous singer alert! I'm a famous singer in the top 3!".

"OK, so... you probably just use autotune". I retorted

Percy then hit the brake in one quick motion.

"Percy! What was that for?" I asked recovering from my shock.

He motioned in front of him and I saw a red light.

"Well, you didn't have to hit the brake that hard, you're just lucky that I had my seat belt on".

He said something under his breath that I couldn't understand.

I shook it off and Percy kept driving once the light hit green.

Once we got to the diner, Percy got out first and... walked into the diner.

Is Percy mad at me for saying he uses autotune?

I got out of the car and walked into the diner.

I saw Percy sitting in a booth at the very back of the diner.

He looked very uncomfortable for some reason.

When I got closer I saw a random girl sitting on his lap.

Oh No She Didn't!

I walked up to them fuming with anger.

"Um... what's going on here?" I asked putting on a calm face.

When you're an actress it's really easy to pretend to have a whole different emotion than the one your feeling.

"This girl won't leave me alone and keeps flirting with me" he replied.

"Oh come on, you know you like it," she said looking at Percy with a flirtatious face making Percy even more uncomfortable.
