Annabeth POV
As we walked out I asked Percy the big question " Will you consider being my date to the Annual Christmas Event Party?"
I returned to face me and cupped my face " I was going to ask you that question, and the same way".
I chuckled bringing his hands off my face.
"How are we always so in sync?" I ask him
"I honestly have no idea".
We both laughed and got in our cars to go home.
"So is that a yes?" I ask him for the second time.
He yelled back " What do you think, Wise Girl?".
Percy's POV
* The next day and 2 hours before the party*
Annabeth and I have been texting for the past 5 hours, and I have to pick her up in about 30 minutes.
I hope she's ready by then.
When we were in High School, Annabeth would always take forever to get ready for a party.
She would take so long that if I didn't leave without her, I would miss the whole party.
I decided to call her to make sure she's ready before I come and pick her up.

Annabeth-Hello?
Percy- Hey Annie, are you dressed and ready to go?
Annabeth-Um... that depends on if you're going to act like a protective big brother again and not let me dress how I want to.
Percy- Annabeth? Are you serious?
Annabeth- Yes Percy, yes, I am serious. I'm an adult now, and I'm famous. I can wear what I want to.
Percy- Come on, get ready, I'm on my way. *hangs up*
Annabeth's POV
Ok, so obviously Percy doesn't want me wearing something exposing.
I have no idea what to wear and he's on his way.
