It was 3 am. I continued staring at my phone, at the text I got from an unknown number. My first thought was that it was from Felix,  but then I had blocked his number ages ago.

It was a simple text that said - I'm coming for you  -

It doesn't sound so simple. It held more meaning. I could feel the tension emanating from those words.

I didn't have any enemies

Well, apart from Felix and Dwain. But Dwain is not capable of such. He wasn't my enemy, just someone I wanted nothing to do with.

Felix is the only one I could think of. I wasn't scared, it was just a simple text anyway.

Why would I be scared of a single text?

Who am I kidding?

I ran out of my bedroom to double-check all the doors and windows if they were properly locked.

I think I had messed up big time. I just silently hoped I was fretting over nothing.

I went back to bed but couldn't sleep. My eyes refused to close as I rolled on the bed looking everywhere.

My heart kept plummeting in my chest and I couldn't stop thinking of various kidnapping scenarios.

I didn't want to get kidnapped.

Sighing in frustration, I decided to find some distraction. And at this moment that would be texting a certain stoneface being.

It's 3pm , It should be okay, right? Or maybe not.

-Hey -

I held my breath waiting for his reply.

Two minutes later it came.

-What do you want this time? -

A grin appeared on my face. If he wasn't the least interested in me, he would have blocked me by now or just simply ignored my texts.

- I want you to ask me out -

- No -

I smacked my lips, carefully planning my words.

- are you sure ?, I feel like your mind is telling you otherwise-

-what,  do you can read minds now -

-not really, I'm just saying -

- Go to sleep -

I snickered.

- not when I'm aware a certain someone is horny-

It took another two minutes before his reply came.

- is this your definition of me asking you out -

- it depends on your interpretation, it's your choice -

- how much do you need -

I raised a brow. He thought I was a prostitute. But this was a sign and I'll make good use of it.

- I don't need money, ask me out and you'll get what you want -

- and then we're done, you'll leave me the hell alone -

-probably, pick the location and time -

- fine -

I giggled to myself. If he thought I was going to give him free sex then he's got another thing coming.

*****

A loud bang on my door woke me up. Couldn't whoever was there use the damn bell!
