Time skip when Y/N were 14
Watching the tree glow rapidly, no one was there to look after it right now. The light flashes rapidly as the time flows before it stops all of a sudden. Everything went dead silent before a petal started to fall and float along the gentle breeze, letting out a petal out of the cave.
Y/N is reading a new novel book given to her by one of the maids. Today's her birthday, and the Kamisato family haven't visited their clan for weeks. Y/N tried to talk to her parents why, but they didn't even bother to answer her question.
So Y/N thought that something is going on in the Kamisato family right now, and that's why she didn't bother to ask her parents again. As she reads a book, soon notices her little brother walk towards her
"Y/N, mom and dad wanted to ask you to come to the dining room with them." Then Shoto walks out towards his own room.
Y/N found this suspicious, but she had no choice but to head downstairs. She looked to see her father and mother sitting on the dining chairs.
"y/n, we have something to discuss. Please have a seat across us."
Y/N sits on a chair, looking at them warily. Everything appears tense, and Y/N wonders what they will talk about with her.
"The shoganate have finally given us permission to finally move you to sumeru for education," Her father said sternly, as if he didn't bothered by this situation going on.
Y/N was shocked and devastated, shocked that the shoganates even approved moving someone out of Inazuma. And devastated that she will never see her home, for who knows how long they'll let her stay in Sumeru, Not only will she miss her beloved home, but also her loved ones, Shoto, Ayaka, and lastly, Ayato. They'll probably not know that Y/N is going to go to Sumeru
"Dad, are you serious. Why did you just ask the Shoganates to let me out of the Inazuma?!"
"Sweetie, you are our only light to carry our clan, our legacy, and our history. You are the perfect example of our clan, perfect to be the next best leader of our clan to help the almighty shogan."
*YOUR POV*
I stare at my parents in disbelief. I can't believe they're doing this to me on my birthday. They were planning this a long time ago. Does the other clan even know about this? Does the Kamisato clan know this? More specifically...
Does Ayato know this?...
I can't just leave them behind; I can't just leave everything behind; I can't leave him behind.
"Does any clan even know about this?" I asked my parents. I wanted to find out why they do this all of a sudden.
"We must not let them know where you are right now yet, not right now," Father replied
"For now, dear, go back to your room and pack up the stuff you need." Mother gets up and heads to Archon, who knows where along with father.
And finally, I'm alone in the dining room. All alone with my thoughts and everything happening so quickly, I only sigh as I look out the window, where I can see the moon shining brightly before my eyes as the sound of the leaves hitting from the winds calms me slightly.
I don't even know what to do. Escaping this household isn't going to work. Hell, if I did, they might replace my duties towards Shoto; I don't want to do that. Also, this clan is huge since they're still working with the Almight Shogun; my crazy parents might even ask the Shogun to find me.
I went up and back to my room, noticing empty boxes. The maids put these empty boxes in while I was talking to my parents. I immediately put my books and clothes in one of the boxes. Since my departure starts in the morning, I looked at my books one by one, remembering the books I gave to him and the ones he gave me.
And suddenly, an idea pops into my mind. I grab an ink bottle and a quill as I start to write a letter for Ayato. I am hoping he will understand that we will see each other again. Once I was done writing the letter, I put it in a handmade envelope I made and sealed it with wax. I hid the letter where everyone couldn't find it. After everything is settled, I lay down on my cushion
"The only hope in my ass..." I mumbled as I went to bed, not bothering to at least least preparing my stuff in some bags or luggage; I don't even have the energy left to do it anyway.
As I stared up at the ceiling, wondering to myself, how will Ayato react when I'm gone, Will he forget about me? Could be; it's always so typical friendship where friends become strangers again. My only hope is that nothing will go wrong once I leave Inazuma.
I continued to gaze up on the ceiling before my eyes started to get heavy and so did my body, until slowly I'm in a slumber. Still wondering what will happen to everything.
3rd POV
As she falls asleep on her own mattress, a door slides open silently. As the person walked in her room quietly, not wanting to wake the lady up. As the person stopped walking, finally right in front of her mattress, they crouched down carefully, taking the letter under her pillow before replacing another. They had finished what they're doing before walking away and jumped out of the window quietly as if nothing had ever happened.
Nothing will ever happen to you, Y/N...
