2000 years after the war of SandWing Succession...
Sunbeam's first memory in her life was her parents arguing over her name.
"We must call this dragonet Ochiron in my honour!" cried a low rumbling voice. "No, her name should be Sunbeam! Ochiron is a bad name with the meaning 'violent dragon!'" a sharp determined voice replied.
"The SunWings will always fight for freedom rather than bloodshed!" the voice continued. Sunbeam frowned. She despised the times when her loving parents argued.
She already knew that many dragons' names ended in "ron" even though she was still in her egg. This word's definition was "dragon," but "Ochi" meant "violent." She was aware of her father's name Cochiron, which meant "kind dragon".
Her mother's name was Costros, an old name of the tribe that SunWings had developed from – SpaceWings. This name came from the word "cosmos", which originated from the word "space".
