She is walking straight with full confidence in her body.

She is about to open the door when is interupted by a woman in her white long sleeve v-neck chiffon matched with a gray colored knee length skirt.

"Excuse me ma'am I'm so sorry but Mr. Alcantara isn't expecting any visitors today. If you want I can make you an appointment first thing tommorow?¨ the woman asked her kindly although she can sense it that the woman is looking at her like she's a prostitute.

"No need I won't take much time. I just have to talk to him."she replies and raises her left brow

"Well, I'm really so sorry. But as what I said earlier he won't accept visitors today. If you want I can schedule you an appointment tomorrow. "the woman said while flashing a forced smile.

" I see....okay...hmmm." she said while thinking "Why don't you just phone him and tell him that we need to talk but, if he still doesn't want to talk to anyone, then I'd go on my way out of the hospital, how about that?" she said as fast as she can but with full authority.

The woman could only sigh and roll her secretly, in defeat. She then called her boss and it took her about six rings before her boss picked up the phone.

"Good morning, Sir. I'm really sorry po but, you have a visitor and she keeps insisting that she needs to talk to you daw po." the woman said like she's nasusumbong while looking at her "Yes, Sir. I told her po but she's very persistent. She badly needs to talk to you daw po eh." the woman looked at her for a couple of seconds before she asked "Ano daw po ang pangalan niyo, Ma'am? "

"Oh.... I'm Lea"

"Lea?"

"Dr. Lea Alcantara." After mentioning her name saw how the woman switched reactions. Her originally brown skin turned pale in a split second. Her mouth hangs open wide and she's not able to say a word. The woman stayed like that for a couple of seconds not until they heard a door opening.

"Ellaine, who is it?" an old yet very manly voice was heard in the whole room. She knows whose voice that is. She turned around to face the old man.

"Haaaay, sa wakas lumabas ka na rin. Don't you know that I've been here for over 5 minutes. Sumasakit na ang paa ko standing here, you know." she said with a bit of exaggeration pagdadrama. The old man could only hiss but later on he chuckled.

"You never really changed, didn't you?" he said while chuckling "I didn't know you would be home this instant. Come on, give your Daddy a hug." She walked to him quickly, almost running. He wrapped her in a tight embrace to make her know how much he misses her. "God, I missed you so much anak."

"Aba, dapat lang ano. You called me in the middle of the night and broke that news to me over the phone. So, I had no choice but to go home to be able to tell you: " Are you out of your mind? Like, why would I do that?" her father could only scratch his head. He can't believe that such an intelligent and preserved looking woman like her could say all of this.

"Uh.... About that. Uhm, can we just talk about it in my office sweetheart?" she immediately understood what he meant. She can only nod. When they reached her father's office, she went straight to the sofa-bed and slouched. She then gave her father a meaningful look and raised her left brow.
