The New Girl

Memo shows me around the school and where my 1st period is and all of my other classes. "Okay so we better get to class cause I'm pretty sure you don't want to be late on your first day of school" he says smiling. "Yea I guess your right" I say. We walk to 1st period in silence. When we get there we walk in and the teacher smiles at me and I smile back. "Well hello Emily I was told that you were coming" "Yea" is all I say. "Okay well you can call me Mrs. Hernandez" she says. "Okay" I say smiling. "You can sit next to Erika" "Okay" I say. "Erika please raise your hand". A girl in the back raises her hand. I walk over there and sit down. She has short black hair and it is pulled back in a ponytail. She is wearing a light green shirt and blue shorts with black converse's. She also has glasses. "Hi" Erika says. "Hello I'm Emily" I say back. She smiles and I smile back. "Can I see your schedule"? "Um sure" I say. I hand her my schedule. She looks at my schedule and smiles. "We have all our classes together" she says. "Really"? I ask surprised. The bell rings and Memo sits in front of me and I smile at him. He smiles back and says "Hi Emily" "Hi Memo" I say. Erika whispers "your blushing" and I put my head down. Mrs. Hernandez talks about all of the states and where they are located. I zone out and my mind drifts off to Memo. "Emily" I snap out of my day dream and look up. "Yes" I say. "What did I just say" she says. "Um you said that the British soilders invaded America in 1865" I say. Mrs. Hernandez looks at me and says "Good just making sure that you are paying attention" she says and I nod. Erika looks at me and says "you looked like you were in another world how did you know that" she says smiling. "A magician never tells" I say chuckling. The bell rings signaling that 1st period is over. Erika drags me out the door and asks "so do u like anyone"? "There is this one guy" I say. Erika smiles widely. "Who is it" she says very loudly. "Shh... And it is Memo" I say. "Oh my gosh are you serious" she says with her mouth wide open. I close her mouth and nod my head yes. She smiles and we walk into 2nd period together and I take a seat next to Erika. "Excuse me your in my seat" a girl says. I look up and see a girl with redish long hair and glasses with red lipstick on. "Oh sorry" I say while getting up. "Yea you better be sorry" the girl says. "Shut up Carolyn she's new" Erika says. "Oh yea I heard you were coming" Carolyn says. "Yea" is all I say. The teacher walks in and see's me and says "Emily you can sit next to Andrea" "Okay thank you" I say. "No problem um Andrea can u raise your hand" I see a hand in the back so I walk towards her and sit down. "Hello I'm Andrea oh you probably already know that" she says laughing and I join her. "Yea I do and I'm Emily" she smiles. Andrea has like brownish hair with glasses and kind of like pinkish redish lipstick on. "Oh Emily you can call me Ms. Ramirez" "oh okay" I say while smiling. She smiles back at me.
