Kaguria was being fairly stubborn about the whole idea of Kyoya seeing Amatae until one of the maids told Kaguria that Amatae would talk to Kyoya for an hour no more than that. Kyoya would have to thank Amatae for being more reasonable that her elder sister. When he was escorted to her room he realized how dark her room was as she was sat up on her bed with her hair over her face as she hugged a pillow tightly while having a light blanket over her.
"Amatae, thank you for allowing me to talk to you. It seems you have more logic than your sister does." Kyoya said as he went into the room and closed the door.
"Just shut up about that, make what you want to say to me quick." She said coldly
He never heard her speak in such a way to him before, he sighed and sat on the side of the bed before he placed hand on her bent leg. "Amatae, I know it seemed like I cared for that woman. But I don't. She's just a foolish woman who I had to treat with respect that's all. I don't love her, I don't remotely care for her like I do you." He said sincerely to her
"Yet you couldn't stand up for us." She said as she averted her eyes from him placing her head against the pillow she was hugging.
"I know I hadn't. I wanted to see how everything would play out in the end. I know that it was foolish of me not to tell you or to let you know what would happen. But..." He said before he made her look at him
He could see just how upset she was, she wasn't trying to hide her emotions anymore, which was good for him to a point. He moved himself closer to her and kissed her on the lips once more. "I was doing what I was to make sure that nothing would get between us. I love you very much, I know it's hard for you to believe but I do. Come to school tomorrow and you'll see just what I mean."
"And if I don't?" She challenged.
"Well if you don't then you may never be able to see or hear from me again, do you really want that?" Kyoya asked curiously
She teared up before she hugged him tightly tackling him down onto her bed as she cried against his chest. "I...I don't want that! I don't want that at all!" She sobbed against his chest
He was shocked at the amount of strength she had but hugged her back as he calmed her tears, he could only guess that she hadn't taken her medications that day, which meant she hadn't eaten all day. "Then go to school tomorrow and Amatae...please eat properly. I wouldn't want you to become weak because of your lack of eating."
She looked to him and nodded her head. "O-Okay...I...I will. I-I promise you that I will!" She said as she sat up properly
He sat up then as well before he raked his hands through her raven hair. "You know...you look very beautiful without your glasses on."
Her face went bright red as she looked at him. "Thanks, even though I can't see far away. I am near sighted Kyoya."
"Well...I'll do what I can to help you out." He said before he gave her a peck on the lips once more.
Amatae couldn't believe what was going on, her stomach was doing flip flops as she felt her face correspond with it, by heating up with a light blush. "T-Thank you Kyoya. Um...I-Is....Is it okay for us to hang out after I get myself dressed?"
"I see no problem with that as long as you wish for me to be around you."
She smiled happily as she looked up at him, he left her so she could dress herself before the two of them spent the day talking about what had happened. Amatae was shocked about what he had called Renge, she hadn't thought that he'd ever do such a thing but...she was more than happy to hear that Renge was going to be leaving for France once more very soon. Amatae felt very content and calm being around Kyoya which he was happy he was able to do in such short notice.
