chapter 5

Jax POV

I wake up in my bed. Strange, I thought I fell asleep on the floor. No ones in my room and the door's closed? I thought the others and I fell asleep listening to Y/n playing her violin.

Ragatha POV

I sit up in my bed. Wait, my bed? I could have sworn I was in Jax's room listening to Y/n play her violin.

Narrator POV

Everyone wakes up in their beds, slightly confused about it. A little while later Ragatha gets up and goes for a little walk by the lake.

Y/n POV

After I wake up I hear a few people talking. It's probably around noon now. I get up and walk to the main part of the tent to find Zooble and Kinger talking. "Hey guys, where's the others?" I ask "oh, Ragatha is out by the lake and the others are still in their rooms" Zooble says "thanks" I say. Huh, I didn't know Ragatha likes to go by the lake. I go out to the lake and see Ragatha leaning against a tree, she seems deep in thought. I walk over and sit next to her, looking at the lake.

"How are you Ragatha?" I ask. "Hello, earth to Ragatha?" I say as I wave my hand in front of her "oh, Y/n, I didn't notice you, sorry" "it's ok, how are you?" She smiles at me"I'm good, how about you?" She asks "I'm doing good. Also, were you all listening to me playing my violin last night?" Her face gets a tiny bit red from embarrassment "oh, yeah. How did you know?" She asks, seeming slightly confused "it was really quiet when I stopped so I decided to go out and check why. I saw Jax's door open then found you all asleep against the wall"

"Is that why we all woke up in our beds?" "Yep" she gives me a hug"thank you Y/n, you're a good friend" I'm surprised, but hug her back. I feel, happy, for once. Like I actually belong here. I smile. She let's go "maybe we should head back. I'm sure Caine's going to have an adventure soon" she says and helps me up. "Yeah" I say and we start walking back.

Caine's already there when we get in "today we are playing a treasure hunt!" He exclaims. "There will be small things hidden inside the tent, and there will also be a small rock painted red. Everyone will be in pairs of two and the pair that finds the rock will win automatically." He snaps his fingers and everyone is next to someone else. Ragatha next to Zooble, Kinger next to Gangle, me next to Jax, and Pomni's not here. She's probably asleep. "And, go!" Caine shouts and the teams all go around.

"So should we split up or stay together?" I ask Jax

"We should split up, we can cover more ground. Let's go" I say and we go in seperate ways. After an hour Caine teleports everyone back to the main area.

Jax POV

We all get teleported back to the main area. N/n looks really happy about something " the rock has been found!" Caine shouts "the winners are Y/n and Jax!"she found the rock! That's why she was so happy. I hug her. "As a prize for the winning team, you all get to plan yourselves a party! Jax and Y/n are in charge of organizing it" he says, then vanishes. We get to plan a party? I'm surprised he's trusting me with that.

Y/n POV

We get to plan a party? Yay! "Come on Jax, let's go start planning!" I say then grab his arm and take off running to the living quarters. We get to his room and I open the door, he forgot to lock it.

Finally we are done. I list down our plan and we give it to Caine. After a few minutes he gives us everything we need to set up the party while he keeps the others occupied with a mini adventure. After a while we finish setting it up and everyone else get back. We start the party, there's food, drinks, and games. Everyone seems to be having a blast, that's good. I go over to Jax who is hanging out by one of the cookie plates.

"Do you think it's fun so far? And good idea for the always replenishing plates of food, it's definitely better than the food running out before the party is over" "well thanks for the compliment, bunny. And I must say, you are actually good at planning parties" he says. His face seems a bit red. Wait, bunny? He called me bunny? That's... Sweet. We keep talking, he's pretty interesting actually. He tells me about some of the pranks he pulled on everyone before me and Pomni got here, and all the adventures. Some he didn't participate in, some he did. It seemed like the adventures he did participate in were fun

Right as Kinger takes the last cookie off a plate it refills, making him jump in surprise. Maybe I should have said something about it first. Oh well, he seems happy about it now. And Pomni's stuffing her face with chips, guess that's something that'll get her to stop rambling about the exit so that's good to know. It looks like gangle found the soda I convinced Caine to let us have, because she's laughing like crazy and bouncing off the walls. Literally. Well I'm going to have some work to take care of after since I had to promise Caine that anything happening that's related to the soda is my job to take care of. Oh well, at least everyone's happy.

Zooble is actually enjoying herself for once. After the party I help Caine and Jax clean up then take Ragatha, who fell asleep after having too many pieces of cake, and Gangle to their beds and tuck them in. Time to practice my guitar. I go back to my room to see a box sitting on my bed. I open it carefully and... It's a plush? It's one of Jax, cute. Wait what? Cute? The plush is cute, yeah. I set the plush on my bed and grab the guitar then sit on my bed. I start playing, it sounds pretty good. I quietly sing along, making up lyrics as I go.

"Lately I've been not been losing sleep, dreaming about the things that we could be" I sing quietly. "But baby I've been, I've been praying hard, said 'no more counting dollars, we'll be counting stars, yeah we'll be counting stars" I hear Jax's door open next to me. I keep playing, he seems to like my music. "I see this life, like a swinging vine. Swing my heart across the line, in my face there's flashing signs. Seek it out and ye shall find" I start singing a little longer, getting more confident with it.

"Old, but I'm not that old. Young, but I'm not that bold. And I don't think the world is sold, on Just doing what we're told" I keep singing and playing "I~ feel something so right, doing the wrong thing. And I~ feel something so wrong, doing the right thing"

I'm ending it here because once again, I'm sleep deprived and had to deal with a busy day at school. yes I know that song exists in our world,but in theirs it doesn't. And after the next chapter I will start working on a yandere y/n x Jax or a yandere jax x y/n I'm not sure which one to start yet. By, and have a good night/day/afternoon ♡
