I wake up to the sound of my 9 o'clock alarm blaring the tone of my favorite instrumental song. It's been two weeks since Scarlet and I had that picnic together at the park and we have never been closer. We have been hanging out almost every day or calling for hours at a time. Besides, Ice Hockey has been excellent if you don't include all the parts where Sienna tried to hit a puck at my head multiple times.

A knock at the door interrupts my mind from roaming around. Julian popped in and smiled "Hey Angie I have to run into work quick, I won't be back until late afternoon." Julian worked as a Software Developer for a famous company so he was gone most of the day and night working to fix any error they had. "Alright well, I am stepping out with Scar in a couple hours to go clothes shopping so I won't be home when you get back. See you later! Love you!" Julian walks down the hall yelling I love you back to me. Julian is an amazing brother and I am grateful for him.

After I took a shower and got dressed in a nice green sweater with black stretchy pants on. I lock the front door and drive to the cafe near my house that sells the yummiest sandwiches. I ordered a turkey, salami, provolone cheese sandwich with mayonnaise on it and it was extremely delicious! I also ordered Scarlet and I coconut banana smoothies.

When I arrived in front of Scarlet's house, they were already waiting outside for me which is incredibly rare for them. I gave them their smoothie and the smile on their face when they realized what I handed them warmed my heart, I am so grateful to have Scarlet as my best friend. When Scarlet and I first met and started hanging out we used to grab coconut and banana smoothies and just watch movies at the mall or walk around the park to just talk about everything. I'm so proud of how far our friendship has grown.

When Scarlet and I arrived at the mall we decided to visit all of our favorite stores and got new shirts and pants for the new school year. Scarlet and I got hungry from walking around the mall, so we decided to share a medium-sized pizza from the food court. It was surprisingly good despite it being from a mall food court. While we were eating the pizza, from the corner of my eye I saw a shop that looked very hippie and calming with the cutest jewelry. I ask Scarlet if we can visit that store before we leave and they nod in agreement as they shove their face with pizza.

Once Scarlet was done finishing their slices of pizza, we walked over to the store and I decided to browse the jewelry while Scarlet was busy looking at all the band posters the shop has. The store smells delicious almost like a cinnamon roll. I find a bracelet with a zinnia flower charm on it with a bunch of star charms surrounding it. I tried and put the bracelet on but failed the attempt due to the clamp. I look up and try to find Scarlet but they are nowhere to be found.

I am about to call their name when all of a sudden a soft voice behind me starts talking "Hello do you need help trying that on?" I turn around and my heart drops because I realize that voice belongs to Willow. I nervously giggle "Yes I do actually! hello, willow! I don't know if you remember me but I am on your ice hockey team." I mentally face-palm myself and think in my head of course she remembers you! She has seen you every day at practice! Willow giggles "Of course I remember you! now here let me help you put this on. these are always difficult."

As soon as Willow's fingers touch my wrist my skin instantly burns under her touch and I feel my face turn red. I don't know how she has this effect on me. The only thing she is doing is helping me put on this bracelet. I'm pulled away from my thoughts when I hear Willow speak again "There we go! This bracelet looks very pretty on you" I swear I could have fainted there. I softly reply "thank you so much!! I will pay for it now."

Once I was done paying for it Scarlet magically appeared outside of the store. "Where have you been!!" I whisper yell at them as I grab their wrist and drag them outside. "What! I saw a cute dog and had to pet it and say hi! I wasn't gone that long." Scarlet response. I roll my eyes and let go of their wrist as we walk to my car.

After I dropped Scarlet off at their house it was nearly 6:00 pm and I was incredibly tired so I decided to head straight home and right to bed. I can barely close my door and change into my pajamas before I fall straight into my bed and turn on relaxing music to fall asleep too. I close my eyes and drift to sleep while staring at my new bracelet and hearing "Right Side of My Neck" by Faye Webster playing in the background.
