As I saw Klaus exit the room behind me, I look back at him as my brows furrow as he pulls something out of his jacket, kissing the box he pulled out. As he saw me in the corner of his eye he put his index finger to his lip and walked off with a smirk on his face.
I scoff slightly laughing.
We all gathered together and sat in the living room I sat on the couch at one end near to Vanya. Luther sat at the opposite couch standing up, Klaus at the bar, Diego on a chair near the portrait of Five by the fireplace, Allison sat at the opposite of the Portrait.
"Uhm, I guess we should get this started. I figured we could have a sort of memorial service in the court yard at sun down, say a few words at dads favourite spot." Luther says standing like he is speaking at an auction.
I rolled my eyes, leaning further into the couch crossing my arms over my torso.
"Dad had a favourite spot?" Allison said confused
"Yeah you know the one at the oak tree? I used to sit out there all the time, none of you ever did it?" He said looking between us all.
"Will there be any refreshments? Tea? Scones? Cucumber sandwiches are always a winner." Klaus says sitting between me and Vanya.
"Wha- No. put that out, you know dad didn't allow smoking." Luther says shaking his head
"Is that my skirt?" Allison says?
"And my jacket?" I say pointing to his chest
"What? Oh yeah vintage ya like it sissy's" he says twirling around in a circle, "it's very breathy on the..bits."
"Listen up! We still have some important things to discuss, alright?" Luther says
"Like what?" Diego snapped back
"Like the way he died,"
"And here we go." Diego says after taking one glance at Luther's face.
" I don't understand I thought they said it was a heart attack?" Vanya says softly her right leg crossed over her left.
"Yeah according to the coroner." Luther says
"Well wouldn't they know?" I say
"Theoretically."
"Theoretically?" Allison asks Luther
"I'm- just saying, at the very least, something happened... The last time that I talked to to Dad, he sounded strange." Luther says
I looked confused so I look over at Diego his expression rested unimpressed with Luther as he raised his eyebrows as Luther continued talking.
"Oh, quelle surprise!" Klaus says gurgling the alcohol in his mouth.
I scoff at Klaus's behaviour looking back over to Luther.
"Strange how?" Allison says
"He sounded on edge. Told me to be careful who to trust,"
"Luther, he was a paranoid, bitter old man. Who was starting to lose what was left of his marbles" Diego says getting out of his chair walking over to Luther.
I could not even deal with any of this, them and their boy drama god they are like a bunch of teenagers all over again.
"No, must've known something was going to happen." Luther says looking a Diego who stood in his face
"Like his death?" I say
"No- I don't know, anyway, look I know you don't like to do it, but I need you to talk to Dad." Luther says looking at me to Klaus
Allison and I scoff
"I can't, just call Dad on the afterlife and be like, "Dad, could you just...stop playing tennis with Hitler for a moment and take a quick call?" Klaus says moving forward in his spot, with a cigarette in one hand and a glass of alcohol in the other.
"Dad isn't that fit." I say laughing at my own joke underneath my own breathe.
"Wha- what since when that's your thing?" Luther states
"I'm not in the right...frame of mind." Klaus says motioning his hands in the air.
Luther looks confused
"He's saying he's high, dipshit." I say snarky.
"Yeah! Yeah!" Klaus says moving around and laughing
Allison scoffs and taking another sip of her drink.
"Well I need you to talk to Dad." Luther says.
"But- Wha- That means I have to! Ugh." Klaus complains not wanting to sober up so he can make Luther happy but also cause he was yes to stay high and he was too lazy.
I left the scene and went up to my bedroom, as I walked in I looked at all the gadgets and belongings I had owned, from posters to books, to Little Rock's and pebbles that sat on my desk for years.
I layed on my bed as the house filled with silence, when all of a sudden a slow beat started playing building up momentum.
'I think we're alone now.'
Once the momentum built up I got up from my bed and started dancing, spinning around my room getting deeper into the song. I started being dramatic leaning against my cupboard sliding down it and mouthing the lyrics. Picking up an old party hat in my room putting it on my head and started getting really into it. The song started to dim down and finish,
When all of a Blue bolt light struck from outside my bedroom window as things in my room started moving around frantically. I ran into the hallway seeing Luther and Allison's worried faces we all ran down outside from where it was coming from. Luther and Diego stood in-front of all us. I stood closely to Klaus, a little scared I wrapped my arm around his.
The blue bolt portal kept thundering and making noises when an old man started coming through it as they slowly turned smaller into a child size.
Everyone gasped when the child fell and hit the ground.
"Is that? Little Five." Klaus said laughing.
"Five?" Diego says getting closer to him.
"Five." I say softly
"Shit." Five says getting up.
