Carlos

Carlos sat at his piano, aimlessly playing whatever notes he could pull together. It didn't sound very pleasing, but the general aura of the attractive male made up for it. It seemed everyone who came to the small music shop was either buying or selling something, or taking guitar lessons. He was the only one there who taught piano, though everyone who taught anything else could play extremely well.

Carlos had no students at the time, the one he had previously, a small teenage girl named Janice, had moved away off to a preforming arts school, so he spent his days anticipating another student while waiting at the piano. Carlos wasn't used to anyone near his piano, or at all interested in his playing, so when the beautiful young man approached the desk to ask for piano lessons, he looked up from his reckless playing. He analyzed the kid standing there, he was tall pale, and thin, with white blonde hair, wearing a purple button up shirt an black jeans. He couldn't be much younger than Carlos, he was only twenty, and he looked at least 16.

The woman at the desk told him everything that he needed to know, and directed him to Carlos. God, this boy was beautiful, his eyes were a nearly purple color, or were they purple? He couldn't tell through his wide glasses. Carlos adjusted his own, pushing them up the the bridge of his nose as he sat down.

"hello," the boy grinned, holding out his hand. Carlos took it within his own and shook firmly, letting go and clearing his throat,

"I'm Cecil Gershwin Palmer, or just Cecil, maybe Ceec? Whatever you want." He ran his hands through his hair, slightly pushing it out of place. Carlos wanted to run his own fingers through it, fix his hair up for him, but he was here to teach piano, not have romantic fantasies about his students.

"Hello, Cecil, nice to meet you, I'm Carlos Diez, just call me Carlos," he nodded towards the instrument in front of him

"And i suppose you're here for piano?"

"I most definitely am. And don't worry, I wont be getting any better than you at your own job any time soon, I don't know a single thing about piano, or music at all."

"That's quite alright, I'll have you playing better than be in no time," he chuckled, motioning for Cecil to sit next to him on the bench, which he did eagerly.

Cecil

All he wanted was fucking piano lessons, and now, here we have it, ladies and gentlemen and everything in between, Cecil Gershwin Palmer crushing on the grown man he met no more than 3 minutes ago. He was hoping for lots of those romantic occurrences that happen in books and movies where two lover's hands touch as they play and they realize their hidden feelings for each other, but mostly it was just him messing up nearly every note and cursing under his breath for 20 minutes. Carlos would chuckle and show him how to do it correctly, and he tried again and did a slightly better job. It was about 45 minutes of quiet curses and semi-peaceful music before Carlos stopped it and turned slightly in his seat.

Carlos

"So, Cecil, mind if i ask you a few questions? Just so i know what to do to continue teaching you," he leaned against the piano, smiling softly. Cecil nodded, cracking his fingers,

"Ask away."

"Alright, Cecil. So, how old are you?"

"17, I'll be 18 next week," not too younger than him, and Carlos could think of quite a few things he'd like to give him for a birthday present. As much as he'd like it to be, that wasn't the topic at hand, he continued with his questions.

"Do you have anyone who'd play music with you? A parent, sibling, significant other, of some sort?" he hoped Cecil wouldn't notice that he was lowkey asking if he was taken, for obvious reasons. But Cecil seemed completely oblivious to the fact,

"

No, I have my old neighbor, Josie, or my friend Earl, but neither of them are very musically talented." Carlos nodded slowly, checking the time on his watch,

"Okay, one more question then you can get out of here," he chuckled. "Have you ever played an instrument before?"

"Nope, not once in my life," he shrugged. Carlos handed him a small piece of paper with his basic info on it, and nodded.

"Call me if you have any questions, see ya' next time," he smiled as Cecil walked out of the building.
