The next morning, they both packed up and headed to the mount vulcan. There were not so many hikers around. The hikers around are just professional hikers who know about the behavior of the mountain, or volcano. Mount.vulcan is known as a volcatain, a mountain in which, during summer and spring behaves like an active volcano, and during autumn and winter season it behaves like a mountain.
Arthur and Jackswell put on their hiking boots and tied a rope onto their waists. They prepared their mountaineering sticks(you know, the one used to hike...) and began hiking. Arthur was on the front and Jackswell following from behind.
About an hour after hiking non-stop, they decided to take a rest on a nearby stop. They ate snacks and drank water( of course XD) . Then, Arthur's sharp eyes spotted something. It was a cave in the middle of the volcatain. So Arthur decided to go in, by himself. The door is made of steel. " Funny, I thought the village near mount.vulcan is so traditional and is so strict about bringing modern items into their lives. Even our mountaineering sticks are made of wood. Boots are also made of leather. " Thought Arthur.
Eventually Arthur forgot that fact and tried to go in. Suddenly, a creature, like a kreacher or goblin appeared out of the door. " I is Gobble Goblin, call I Gob. Question before enter, what is the village you is sent to? " Said the creature. "Boy, you sure have some grammar issues...." Replied Arthur. " Silence! Answered the question!" " Alright, alright,... I guess it's Cyan village." "Very well, you may goes in. " Said Gob. " See, Gob is working for king Demias. Gob only let you in if you answered right." Explained Gob while leading the way.
5 minutes later, they arrived in a chamber. It was dark with only 2 candles in the center, unlit. In front of the candles sat a man with a grey hoodie and slanted eyes. He smiled and put his hands backwards on the candles. He said," Hmm, if you want to gain the scroll, then this is your test to earn the scroll. Here I have 2 types of candles. One short, one long. The rules are simple. We will both light up the candle of our choice at the same time. Whoever's candle went off first, loses. If you win, you may proceed. Now, make your choice." Said the man who is known as wickhead or ' bomb master'. Arthur thought for α while, " Normally α person would choose the long one, but what if he put some kind of flammable powder in it.... The it would burn faster.... And I would lose.... But what if I choose the short one.... What if he didn't play any trick? Then I would lose too.... "
