2. The witch, the straw hat and the unknown

The boss called me with the idiot in the straw hat which doesn't smell good . It is never bodes well when the two sub-bosses are reunited in the office of the witch.

The « witch » like I've said, is called Nami. Such an terrifying woman by the way. Nobody's know her past or even her last name and I think it's better for all of us. Like.. damn my boss is such a monster.

For the idiot in the straw hat, actually I think I can consider him like my best friend? His name is Luffy, Monkey D. Luffy, and we know each other during a while. He saved me from jail when I was just a neighborhood scum and made me join the organization when it was still in its infancy.

And what about me? Well it's not your problem. The only thing you need to know is that I am an important member of Palle.

Luffy: Zoroooo! Here you are! Nami called us isn't it?

... Nevermind. Now you know my name.

Luffy approaches the door I was already standing at.

Luffy: It's been a while!!

I sigh

Zoro: We saw each other like three days ago, Luffy.

Luffy: Yeah so it's been a while!

My eyes roll

This guy is so enthusiastic I swear.. I don't know how he is doing this.

Zoro: Come on, let's get in or the witch will scream at us.

I knock on the door and open it

Zoro: It's us boss.

Nami is sitting on her gigantic armchair behind her desk where she treats some documents about I don't know what.

Luffy and I walk to the desk and sit on the two chairs in front of it.

The witch stop to work and look at us with a curiously serious look.

I sigh

Zoro: What is it for, witch?

Nami: Show to your boss some better respect asshole.

Zoro: Tch.

I look at the window, annoyed

Luffy: Why did you called us? Something wrong?

The boss sigh

Nami: Red Fet wants their revenge.

Zoro and Luffy both : Red Fet?!

Zoro: What do you mean by taking their revenge?

Shit! I don't like the way it's going..

Nami: My spy informed me of a plan to kill our contract killer, Robin and I think that it is related to...

Luffy take his serious tone, which is unusual

Luffy: The ***** incident.

....

A deep silent take place in the office

....

After a moment, Nami restarts to talk

Nami: Yeah.

I sigh

I knew it..  I knew that it wasn't good news. The **** incident is a top secret file and I just can't talk about it but if Red Fet planned to kill Robin, our contract killer (and my big sister by the way), then we have to make a counter attack.

I lean in a more comfortable position and try to concentrate for the next part.

Zoro: So, what's the job ?

Nami: If they want to kill one of us then we have to kidnap the idiot that send Zeff.

Luffy: Kidnap one of their member ? It would be more simple if we just kill him, quick and simple.

Zoro: Luffy's right. Why would we annoy us with a hostage?

Nami sigh,a bit angry

Nami: You two are brainless fools. If we kill the member, we would have no power of pression on Red Fet to know their motivation ! Plus we need money because two idiots bought a giant dinosaur made of rubber and a whole boat of alcohol !

Luffy and I look away with innocent faces

Nami: I swear, one day I will fired you two.

She look at us

Nami: Nervermind, you two understand why we don't have to kill the guy who will try to kill Robin?

Luffy and Zoro both: Yeah yeah..

The witch sigh again

Nami: At least you aren't the ones who will do the mission..

Still Zoro and Luffy both: WHAT?!

Zoro: What do mean by not us?!

Luffy: I was thinking about how to turn my dinosaur into a weapon!!!

What the fuck Luffy.. Well after all a dinosaur gun is kinda funny..

Nami stand up

Nami: Why would I send my two sub-bosses for that?! What if something happen here huh ? Who would protect me?

Zoro: Seriously ? Again? Urgh but I'm so bored by just standing here and do nothing...

Luffy: Me too!!

Nami: And I don't care. I will only send Robin and Usopp to do the work. And you don't to do all of this small things.

Zoro: But it concerns the incident ! We can finally have the truth about it!

Even if I have to admit that send Usopp as a sniper and Robin as a bait is not a bad idea, I miss the action of ground!

Nami: Zoro. It's a no. Same for you Luffy. Order of the boss. Now get out of my office.

Zoro: Fine! But it wouldn't be my fault if everything mess up !

Angry, I leave the room by slamming the door.

I go to my quarters where I take a bottle of sake.

I sit on the terrace where I can drink in peace.

Tss. This witch of Nami. Telling us all of this for just saying that we won't get in the mission.

...

I wonder who will be the member. And mostly what are their motivations behind this.

We're not even sure that the spy of the witch said the truth. Everything is possible...
