Chapter 2

Suzuka's POV
"I'm not sure how I feel about this." I said to Ayaka. Sat on the couch next to me.

"Same... Wait- what do you mean?"

"What if Phan is real..." I said with tears brimming my eyes.

"AWH someone has a crush!!!!"

"SHUT UP!" I yelled.

"ON PHILIP. MICHAEL. LESTER." She said, cracking up.

"At least I'm not little miss NotOnFire."

She pelted me with a pillow and said, "WHAT- NO! SHUT...JUST, BE QUIET." Ha, serves her. "Go get ready. We can talk more about this in town."

"Okay. Let's get some bento at least." I said, headed down the hardwood floored hallway to my room.

"You act like I'd say no!" She yelled back.

Ayaka's POV
Suu was right, maybe we should be nervous. I remember first meeting Dan 11 years ago. One year after my parents... well, never mind. Now, I could cry I loved him so much. Even though he told me I was his princess, I think it was because I'm younger than him. I'm glad Suu brought this up, because I've been holding it in for weeks. I've cried myself to sleep because of this. Was Phan real? Screw it. Fucking screw it. They aren't here yet and I'm out to have a good time so I'll have a good time. The land of the rising sun has too much to offer for us to stay inside.

I put on some incredibly casual Lolita, a small dress and a hair bow to match. I slid on some kitten tights and I was good to go. Wait- don't forget the rings.

"READY!" I shouted to Suzuka.

"FINALLY!" We both broke into fits of laughter after that.

Suzuka's POV
I was wearing a Liz Lisa floral dress and some cute ankle boots to match. It's almost fall-time here, which means almost school time. But, that's okay, the uniforms are THE CUTEST. It's also really fun going to school, too.

"Where do you wanna go first?" I asked Ayaka as we walked into town.

"There." She said, pointing at a massive, well more like tall, shopping center.

"Awh! Natsukashi!" I said. I remembered this place. We always go here after school to touch up our makeup. *gasp* DAN AND PHIL!!! They'll have to go to our school!!! They're 17 and 18, oh no. Ayaka must've sensed what I was thinking about, so she said, "Don't worry, at least, not now."

"You're right." And she was, I need to stop thinking so much. "Let's just have fun." Ayaka gasped.

"THERES PURIKURA IN HERE! I REMEMBER!"

"Yay!!!! You have to vlog it!" I said as she got out the camera.

"Hello young wizards!" She said in her wizard-y voice. "Today we are out and about in Japan! We are going to a big shopping center, and guess what? It has purikura!" She loved purikura. She kept them all in a Hello Kitty box. We had so much fun there. "See you there!"

We walked through the cute little store, kind of like a Walgreens but a lot bigger. Combined with Walmart. We looked at the makeup and saw all of the sailor moon things we used to have as kids. We even looked at the circle lenses. All of the cosmetics had try me stations, and that's how we'd fix our makeup. We were looking around and we saw it. The purikura. If you don't know what that is, it's Japanese photo booth with editing features.

We stepped inside and went crazy to kawaii. We made our eyes bigger, put funny stickers on there, and blush. We are pretty weird but it was fun!

Ayaka's POV
After the shopping,(in which we bought nothing), we went out for some bento. I don't even know where we went but OH MY GOODNESS THE GREEN TEA ICE CREAM TASTED LIKE HEAVEN. We went home soon afterwards, walking the entire way. I was still thinking about it. About him. But, I made a vow. I couldn't cry about it, I had to stay strong for Suzuka. I had to. For her.
