Unexpected Love

Chapter 3

Chris's POV.

Leigha is gorgeous. The way her hair flows in the fall breeze. They way her eyes glimmer in the sun. I can't take my eyes off her.

When I was in line to get my lunch, Leigha tripped and fell into my arms. Her face was just, beautiful. I helped her stand back up and asked,

"Are you okay?!"

"Um, yea, I'm okay." she replied.

I couldn't take my eyes off her. She was just so beautiful. Leigha turned around back to facing Dani and Macie. They got their lunch and I got mine. Leigha sat in the spot she always sits in, so I can see her face, her beautiful face.

"OMG Macie!! What the fuck!!" Leigha yelled at Macie.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to drop Carmel, but he squirmed out of my arms!!!" Macie yelled back, and they both laughed.

That's it! Her laugh! I can't stop thinking about it. I love it so much. She looks so gorgeous with her hair falling in her face and her smile from ear to ear.

I can't believe what I'm saying. I wish I could talk to Joey about this but he would tell her and then make fun of me. Leigha probably doesn't like me like that.

"Joey, what is your problem!" I shouted to him.

"I don't know! I just wanna go out side are you done yet?!" Joey asked.

I was going to get up and dump my tray, when I see Leigha getting up to dump hers. I follow her to the trash cans.

"Hi again." I said.

"Oh, um, hi..." she replied.

"I promise I won't hit you in he head with a football this time!" I made her laugh.

"It's okay, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would." She explained.

Leigha's POV.

All I could do was stare at his gorgeous hazel eyes, I didn't know what to say.

"I'll see you late probably?" he asked me.

"Yea, maybe." I replied as he walked back towards his table. Him and Joey went outside. I asked Dani if she was ready to go outside.

"Yea! Lets go!" she shouted.

We made our way outside, to our spot on the hill. We sat down where we did earlier and hoped nobody would get hit today. I saw Chris run and catch the football in the air. It felt like he was showing off, but I don' think he likes me like that.

'I like her' Chris thought...

'I like him' Leigha thought too...
