That was the 'lunch Is over' bell.
Leigha had math with Ms. VanWhite next. She walked with her friends until they got to the lockers. She grabbed all of her math stuff and headed to class.
"Take a seat anywhere for right now," Ms. VanWhite announced.
Leigha saw Lauryn from choir class. She went and took a seat right next to her.
"Hey Lauryn!" she exclaimed.
"Hi, Leigha right?!" Lauryn asked.
"Yup that's me." Leigha replied, "Do you mind if I sit here?"
"Oh, sure, just let me move my stuff." Said Lauryn.
"Thanks!!" Leigha sat her stuff down, and headed for the bathroom. When Leigha came back she noticed Chris and Joey sitting behind her and Lauryn.
"Hey, I'm back Lauryn." She stated.
"OK! Class is starting soon so," Lauryn replied.
Leigha sat down, straightened out her books, and took out her notebook.
"Hey, do you have a pencil I could borrow?" Chris asked Leigha.
"Um, yea sure, here." Leigha said as she turned around and handed him the pencil. When their hands touched once again her eyes lit up. All Chris could do was admire her face.
"Cool, thanks Leigha" he said.
"Anytime Chris!" She exclaimed.
Math class flew by so quickly. Leigha had Social Studies next, again with Ms. VanWhite. She left to go put her math away and grab her Soc. She notices Chris is in this class too. Leigha goes and sits next to Ali.
"Hey Ali!" she said
"Oh, hi Leigha." Ali replied.
Leigha noticed Chris moved over and sat next to Steven. They aren't really the best of friends but they talk a lot and sit with each other at lunch. After Ms. VanWhite talked a bit, Social Studies and ELT flew by so fast. It was now time for Reading with Mrs. Linstead. Leigha had reading class with Ali, Steven, Mark, and Chris.
"Stand in a line in the back of the room and wait for your assigned seat please." Mrs. Linstead explained. Leigha lined up next to Ali and Max.
"First row... Jimmy, Lilly, Jenna, Liam, Kyle,
Second row... Freddy, Ali, Lisa, Max, Holly, Jess,
Middle rows... Maria, Jhonny, Faith, Jake, Paige, Hope, Tara, Henry, Nicki, Cali,
Second last row... Nyelli, Vic, Steven, Sam, Mark,
Last row... Tahlia, Nole, Willow, Leigha, Chris." Mrs. Linstead announced everyone's spot.
Chris's POV
All I could think of was that I sit behind Leigha. The way her hair falls down her back, They way she is always happy and smiling. She is beautiful. I couldn't keep my eyes off her all through class, I couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful she is.
I just wished she liked me the way I like her...
