Second Try (Quinntana)

Chapter 27

The lights went out just as the gun went off and the only thing you could hear inside the house were Quinn and Lauren screaming loudly in the dark.

The bulletin went clean into the wall shooting Russell as he bites his lower lip before holding in his scream to not let Puck know he was there.

Puck finally made his way outside to switch on the power before going back in and saw that Quinn, Lauren and Santana were gone from inside once he got the power back on. Grabbing his gun Puck ran after them into the wood. "You can't hide forever!" He shouted out as he slowly stops and saw a shadow hidden behind the tree before shooting.

Santana pulls the girls towards the car she was driving before she spotted Russell truck. "If I'm not back in 10 minutes call Holly she knows what to do okay? The cops should be on there way out here." She says panting heavily as she was still in pain but was afraid to admit.

Quinn pulls her into a much needed kiss before handing her the gun she dropped earlier. "Kill that son of a bitch."

Lauren hugs the Latina before kissing her on her cheek for saving her life before getting into the car.

"Mom have you seen Carson? I can't find him anywhere. " Charlie says to the older blonde woman who was sitting up in the den having a drink when she looks towards her daughter who was holding Bella as she raised an eyebrow up in confusion. She remembers put him to bed after dinner and his shower since he wasn't feeling well.

Judy gets up and ran upstairs to check his room then Jordan's room before checking Beth's room who was cuddling Jordan who was asleep. "Shit!" She yelled as she grabs her phone and calls her husband who phone went straight to voicemail.

"Mom what's wrong? What's going on, you're scaring me here." Charlie says following her mother. "Who are you calling?"

Judy tries calling him again and it went to voicemail before looking at Charlie. "Your father went to kill Noah and I think Carson sneaked out and went with him." She says with tears in her eyes.

"I'm calling the police." She says calling them and reports her son is missing before telling them the whole story.

Walking back up the path Santana run into Russell who was holding his shoulder.

"Russell?" Santana says panting as she helps him leans back against a tree. "Are you okay?"

"Mmm what are you doing out here Santana? I thought you were supposed to be in a coma?" He questioned the Latina as she put some pressure on his gun shot wound.

"Questions later, the girls are at the car when you get there call the cops okay? And whatever you do don't come back here okay? I'm gonna finish this now." She says seriously as she held up the gun.

Russell nods his head just as his phone vibrates and it was Judy. "What?.... Slow down I can't understand what?"

Santana looks at him as she hears bits of pieces of the conversation till she heard Carson's name and started running towards the cabin as she saw the lights were back on before going back in and saw Noah smiling.

"That's it I'm calling the police now Holly! My daughter is out there and she could get killed or something and we just sitting here waiting for a freaking phone call?!" Maribel yells just as Holly's phone rings.

"Hello? Quinn? Where is Santana?" The older blonde choked out as she heard the younger girl voice.

"Santana told me to call you and you would know what to do but she went back to the cabin." She rushed up as she sees her father coming towards the car and hears the police siren in the distance.

Holly nods her head as she remembers Quinn couldn't see her and called the FBI so the cops could find the cabin in the dark.

"I was waiting for you." Puck says as he sees the Latina as he holds up his gun with an evil smirk on his face. "After two months you finally wake up and get your fine ass wife back but you lose a kid in the process tsk..." he shakes his head. "What a shame Lopez, what a shame but hey you give me my daughter back and I'll give you your son back." He says walking over to Carson who had tears in his eyes with his hands tied in front of him.

Santana looks at the Jewish man as she was panting she knows she didn't want her son to die. "Listen leave my son out of this, this is between you and me but I'm gonna walk out of here alive and you in a body bag." She says serious as she steps closer to him.

Puck tries to hit Santana with the gun which he managed to hit her shoulder before tackling her to the ground and drops the gun as they wrestled for the gun. Puck kicks the Latina his her stomach before rolling her over and gets on top of her and punches her in her face over and over again making her mouth and nose bleed.

Outside of the cabin you could hear the helicopter just outside getting closer and closer.

Grabbing the knife from her side pocket Santana stabs it into Puck's neck and pushes him off of herself and stands up wiping her face with her shirt before limping over to her son and unties his hands and pulls him into a much needed hug before kissing his head.

"Daddy!" Carson says hugging her back.

"God I'm so sorry buddy." She says rocking him back and forth.

The cops busted down the door and runs in and picks up Puck and arrest him. Quinn came in running behind them and hugged her wife and son. She kisses all over Carson face before kissing Santana again as she missed her lips.

"I missed you so much." Santana says softly as she smiles and kisses her lips again as she holds her. She missed everything about her and even though she looks a mess right now Quinn was still beautiful to her.

"Noah Puckerman you are under arrest..." the officer says as they were cuffing his hands but Puck pushes the officer away as he grabs his gun and shoots out as a voice screams out.
