Promise?

I walked back to letty who was talking to two men who stood in front of her.

I walked inbetween them and plopped next to letty.

"This is who you're betting on?" The one on the left chuffed a laugh. His buddy next to him joined.

"Yep" letty threw her arm over my shoulder "wanna take that action?" Letty leant her head forward and dared the idiots in front of us.

"Yeah alright. I'll put bout 500 on Edwin" the shorter one said, handing the money to letty who bows her head with a propped out lip "I'll match" letty fishes out her buy in and adds it to the pile.

"Good luck" letty slides her arm off my shoulders and down my back, well shit girl.

I winked to the boys before walking to the door of my ride and hopping in and waiting for them to move.

Edwin, me and the newbie lined up, and watched letty walked out into the middle of the track.

"Ready?" She screamed, her arms raising above her head, cheeky fucker. She had my bandana that was tied around the belt loop of my jeans.

I revved the engine.

She dropped her arms and we all took off, well, Edwin and I did. Seems like newbie had a little trouble.

I was easily in the lead, Edwin wasn't much competition.

"Silly boy" I mutter when I witness the new racer use his NOS tank to catch up to us.

I turned the corner, making it look easy as I drift through and surpass Edwin and newbie who hadn't even made it to the turn yet.

Okay. Maybe this might be my stupid ego slipping in but I pull my hand break up and let my car spin, until I was facing Edwin and the other racer, sending a taunting wave before crossing the finish line

Letty came bounding over with a happy energy and opened the door "You are a fucking ace noa" she hugged me, I laughed into her shoulder and blew away the hair that landed on my nose.

"Fucking hell man. Where did you learn to drive like that. What's your name" I pulled away from lettys warm embrace and see the two cocky boys from before now easily humbled.

"Self taught and I'm noa" I put my hand out as a peace offering.

"Shit girl" the taller one smiled, taking my hand and shaking it "I'm donny and this is scooter" they introduce themselves. Letty doesn't seem as pleased but I shrug it off.

"Okay Boys well see you later" she said, grabbing my hand and taking me to my car.

"Keys" she holds her hand out. I laughed and shook my head "not a chance" I held the keys behind my back.

"Rude. I'm not gonna crash it" she joked, stepping closer and reaching for the keys "promise?" I ask, cocking a brow and looking Into her eyes "I Leticia Juliana Ortiz. Promise not to crash your car"

With her promise I hand over her keys and watch as she smirked in triumph.

She walks around to the driver's seat and hops in.

I get in and look over to her "so where we going" I ask, looking over to the clock that says it's only 9. Letty smirks and turns to me, one hand gripping the wheel and the other turning the keys in the ignition.

"I'm taking you to my favourite place"
