We finally arrive home, the car ride wasn't long but I was knocked out for most of it, once I felt that turn I woke up immediately. "Ok we're here, tell your brother to come get your bags and you can just go in" my dad tells me handing me the house keys "why do men have so many keys on one key chain?" I thought to myself .
"If you want you could go to the deli and get some snacks" he adds "Ok I'll just settle in for a minute then I'll go if that's okay with you" I tell him "Yea, of course that's fine take as much time as you want, and tell your brother to give you a little house tour" he says "alright" I say while heading into the house.
I entered the house and my jaw drops, in my eyes the house is big but it doesn't look so big from the outside. I take a few steps in closing the door behind me when I hear footsteps coming down the stairs I jump a little. "Oh my god you're actually here" the tall boy says hugging me, I know my dad mentioned me having a brother but I never met him "Oh that's right you don't know me" he says and pauses for a second, I nod a little bit after he spoke "I'm your older brother Amari, I'm 19 years old incase your wondering" he tells me in a calm voice, he's really sweet I might say but maybe he's only being nice to me cause I've never met him..yk first impression shit.
"So your the brother dad was mentioning" I say with a smile "He also told me to tell you to help with the suitcases but that was like 20 minutes ago" I tell Amari, I say the last part a little lower. We hear the door open, Amari and I both turned our heads seeing our dad struggle to come into the door with 4 big suitcases in his hands.
"I thought I told you to tell Amari to come help" he says with a sigh "sorry he was just introducing himself plus I just now told him" I tell my dad "Well I can take these up to your room and you can follow me" Amari says I follow my brother up the stairs he shows me where the bathrooms are,his room, our dads room and our dads office (he works from home).
We enter my room and I fall in love as son as I walk in, "not to brag but I did it myself" Amari says "YOU DID THIS?? FOR ME??" I question kinda..yelling "Yes Alanah I did this for you" he says with a chuckle "THANK YOUU" I said going up to him hugging him kinda tight "Of course anything for you" he sets my bags down next to the closet and I start unpacking everything.
"It feels good to be home" I say to myself with a smile on my face ----------------------------------------------------------------
