The Twins That Lived. ✨

Acceptance Letters & Birthday Surprise. Chapter 1:

It was Monday, July, 15th, six days before Harry's birthday and four months before his twin's birthday. Though they had different birthdays they were still twins. Irish twins. His twin, his sister Elly, was the only one nice to him. For some reason their cousin and their uncle and aunt seemed to like her better. Not by much but still. He was a little jealous but never mentioned it.

Elly though his twin didn't look like him, or their father even in the slightest. In fact she has black and ginger hair and black eyes. Her hair is long and straight but a little bit messy. And unlike her brother who's 5'5 shes 5'7½.

When they were younger and first allowed to leave the house Elly and Harry had met Draco Malfoy. Elly and Draco got along immediately but the boys didn't. She was often a moderator between them both. And since they didn't usually get along Harry didn't usually come with Elly to visit Draco.

Today when Harry checked the mail there were two letters specifically to both him and Elly. He handed Elly hers and she flipped it around to see the Hogwarts seal and beamed as they both walked into the kitchen past Vernon and Dudley. She had been told about Hogwarts from Draco and his family so she was excited though Harry didn't know a thing.

"Dad, look! Harry and Elly have letters!" Dudley exclaims snatching them and handing them to Vernon.

Petunia stands next to Vernon curious about the letters.

"Give it back, they're ours!" Harry protests.

"Yours? Who would be writing to you?" He chuckles. He flipped the letters over to see the Hogwarts seal as the three of them looked like they saw a ghost.

Vernon rips them, throwing them away and drags Harry by the ear and locks him in the cupboard under the stairs and Petunia herds Elly up to her room.

"Alright you two can go out for a few hours but be back in time to make dinner."

Elly nods.

"Yes, Aunt Petunia." Harry says begrudgingly.

They both rush out of the house.

~"I'm going to go see Draco."~ Elly signed to him.

"Alright. Meet you back in the park?"

She nods, giving him a quick hug before running off to Draco's.

She stops in front of the door knocking.

Dobby answers it.

"Elly!"

"H-hi D-dob-by! H-How a-are y-you?" She asks giving him a hug.

"I'm doing good and you?" He asks back while hugging her.

"I-I'm g-good t-too."

"Elly dear!" Narcissa greets.

"H-Hi a-aunt-tie."

"No need to push yourself to speak, dear. Come in! Come in!"

~"Thanks auntie. How are you?"~

"Good. And yourself?"

Draco comes and she doesn't realize.

~"I'm alright. I think me and Harry got our acceptance letters but Uncle Vernon ripped them before we could open them."~

"You got your letter today?" Draco asks, now standing near them with his arms open.

She runs to him and hugs him. "D-drayc-co!"

"Hello Elly." He greets hugging back.

She smiles then pulls back to sign.

~"Also yea but like I said to auntie Uncle Vernon ripped them before we could open them."~ She pouts.
