Raven: So you want to know why I left. It was because of my selfish ambitions, and the fear of my family being hunted. I didn't want to leave you, Yang, but after we got married and had you, Tai changed for the worst. He seemed angrier, and more on edge. After a while, he started being aggressive. Yang, I'm sorry I left you. *tears appear in her eyes* Could I maybe try again?
Yang looks at her mother, before running toward her. Raven covers her face, but then feels a tightness around her waist. She looks down to see Yang hugging her around the waist, crying.
Yang: I wanted you back everyday, mom. After Dad said those words, I needed you more than ever. I love you, mom. Please don't leave me, ever.
Raven's motherly instincts take over, and she hugs Yang back. The two cry, While the others watch. the mother and daughter moment over, they break the hug
Raven: Thank you Yang. I won't leave again, Not anymore.
Yang: Wait, How did Y/N know you?
Y/N: It was 2 years after Sarah died. I was trying to find a place to stay, but nothing was working. I tried to find a place in the forests of Anima. Well I did find a camp, which I thought was abandoned. Little did I know, it was a trap, laid by your mother.
Raven: And my biggest mistake ever; it cost the lives of those I had saved.
(flashback)
Y/N is seen wandering the forest, holding a 2 year old Haruo in his arms.
Y/N: I've got to find shelter. If I don't, I could lose my only child. *sees the camp* That'll do for now.
Unknown to him, the Branwen tribe used the camp to trick unsuspecting travelers. Raven watches as Y/N walks through the doors and into one of the tents.
Raven: alright, lets get him soon.
The bandits nod and begin to circle around the camp. Y/N is in the tent, Haruo still in his arms fast asleep. He then hears something move in the surrounding woods. His spines flicker, and warble. He sniffs the air, and picks up an unfamiliar smell; it's human, but there's a lot of them, and they're hostile. He stands up and puts Haruo down, pulling out his weapon. He converts it into katana mode, and waits.
Meanwhile the bandits slip into the camp, almost silently. Raven looks over to Vernal, And nods her head. Vernal nods back and motions for two bandits to attack. They nod and walk over to the side of the tent. One of them raises his gun, but then...Y/N rips the side open and grabs the one who tried to shoot him.
Bandit #2: GAH!
Bandit #1: CONTACT! DIE YOU... YAAH!
Y/N had grabbed his head and sliced his arm off.
Y/N: Leave, now
the bandits grab their weapons and yell out a signal. The rest of the bandits, Vernal and Raven charge out of the forest. They corner Y/N and pull out their weapons. Y/N gets into a battle stance and then he sees that Vernal has Haruo. His grip on his weapon tightens.
Raven: Drop the weapon, or this child dies.
Y/N doesn't respond, But his fist clenches. He lets out a growl, and his dorsal spines flash.
Y/N: You just made a big mistake, by threatening my son.
Y/N then looks up causing the bandits to flinch. His eyes turn red and his teeth grow sharper. He growls louder.
