Chapter 1

Isang araw na naman para kay Tori, she is already a doctor of animal, should we say a vet. Napalingon ako sa pinto ng aking kwarto nang may kumatok.

" Tori anak baba ka na, nang makapag almusal ka na." Napangiti nalang si Tori.

"Opo nay, pababa na po." Kaagad akong nag ayos, si nanay Vina ang tumayong Ina ko, si Tay Naldo naman nilang ama. I'm not a orphan child. My parents are still alive, they're just, I mean I'm just nothing..

Pagkatapos kong kumain ay kaagad akong nagpahatid kay tatay Naldo. I waved him goodbye before I entered the clinic.

Na abutan ko naman si Lyn sa front desk. My assistant here.

"Good morning Lyn.." masayang bati ko. I know I'm kinda cold for everyone except with my nanay, tatay and Lyn. She's my best friend since then.

"Good morning din bruha, good mood ka yata?." Yeah, best friend ko nga siya. Kilalang-kilala niya ako.

"Well, wala lang, I just feel like I need this kind of mood today."

Natawa naman ito" Sus ayan tayo..Sabihin mo baka lalaki na yan" natawa rin ako.

"Bruha ka eh, NBSB kaya ako, Oh sige na pasok na ko loob ha.." natatawang sabi ko tsaka pumasok sa loob ng office ko.

I answered the call. I put the phone on my ear. Waiting for him to talk.

" Tori, can you meet me up, at the park near to your clinic. " Then he hung up.

A tear fell from my eyes. When was last time I heard him call me "Anak"

Hindi na ako naayos pa hinubad ko nalang ang labcoat ko bago lumabas ng office.

Nakita ko si Lyn nag cellphone ito. Tawang-tawa pa ito sa pinapanonood.
"Hoy bruha Aalis muna ako, tumawag si Dad., pupuntahan ko lang."

Tumango ito "Sige ingat, balik agad ha.."

I just walk, hindi naman masyadong malayo. After almost twenty minutes of walking narating ko na din ang park. Maraming tao ang nagpipicnic.
It's Sunday family day.

Natanaw ko si Dad hindi kalayuan sa kinatatayuan ko. I slowly walk towards him. Nakatingin ito sa Isang pamilya na nag pipicnic sa ilalim ng malaking narra.

" Dad.." mahinang sabi ko. Napalingon naman ito sa akin.

"Tori, mabuti naman at andito ka na."
Tumango lang ako at blangko nakatingin sa kanya.

"Ano po ang sadya niyo Dad?" Mapait ito ngumiti sa akin.

"May pupuntahan tayo Tori. I'm sorry" dahan-dahan itong tumayo palapit sa akin. Akmang lalayo na ako ng biglang may humawak sa magkabilang braso ko sabay takip ng panyo sa mukha ko. May kung ano akong masinghot. Then everything went black.

Nagising nalang ako nasa backseat na ako ng kotse. I want to shout but my mouth is being tape. I saw my dad on the passenger seat.

"Hmmpp!!.." I tried to make noise. Napalingon ito sa akin. "I'm sorry Tori but I have to do this it's for your own good." He looks sad and exhausted.

I hate you Dad. I want to shout that to him. But I couldn't I'm helpless.

Hindi nagtagal ay tumigil ang kotse. An abandoned building. Bumaba ang driver sumunod din si Dad. Umikot ito para kunin ako sa backseat.

Hindi na ako nagwala pa. Wala din naman akong magagawa pa. Binaba ako ni Dad sa gitna may upuan. I saw a group of people, wearing black t-shirt.

May lumakad papunta sa harapan ko. A tall man, wearing a black hoodie jacket. " Did you hurt her?, remember our deal Mister."

He bend over, took off the tape in my mouth. He caressed my cheeks." Did he hurt you?, tell me.?"

I don't know but when I heard his voice I felt like all of my emotions wants to go out. Hindi ako sumagot, what I did is less of my expectation, I hugged him. Then I cried a lot.

"I'm scared, please help me." I said between my cry. Marahan nito pinunasan ang luha sa aking pisngi. He pulled me and embrace me. " No one will hurt you again. My Bonnie Maze.."

Hindi ko na kaya ang pagod, tuluyang pumikit ang aking mga mata. Naramdaman ko nalang ang paglutang ko.

He smiled when he heard her snore, she looks like cute bunny. Namumula pa ang ilong at ilalim ng mata nito.

Nagisings si Tori sa isang malambot na kama. Mabilis siyang bumangon at nilibot ang paligid. Nasa malapad na kwarto siya. A combination of black and white theme in the room.
