Amal pov

We've been driving for about thirty minutes now so I decided ask

"where are we going"

"I also don't know" he replied smiling

"Ohk, so let's see where the car will drive us to" I said and we both giggled

Couple of minutes later, we arrived at Abuja love garden. He then brought out a blindfold and Said

"Put this on"

"OK but can I get a clue at least" I pleaded

"Nop not even a sign" he said

I rolled my eyes before putting the blindfold on, he helped me out of the car and mildly held my hand. We walked for seconds and finally stopped.

"are you ready" he asked

"yes!, I'm fully ready" I said

"OK you can take off the blindfold now" he said

Everything was blurry at first but gradually my vision cleared up.

The place looks marvelous, everywhere was decorated with lights and flowers, my name written all over the place in different handwritings, a soft music playing and a magnificent scent of the perfume. I was standing in the middle of a well designed heart.

I then realized there was no one there, I got confused at that instant. the place suddenly turned dark, seconds later a projector screen appeared then a writing which says

'I know you'll be surprised to receive this from me but I had no other option to resort to. Your thoughts have been constantly running in my mind through out the night as it gushed like a wind in my heart.

Everytime I think of you, I am hit with conflicting emotions I don't know how to express or convey myself. I don't know what you've done to me and now I cannot think of anything beyond you. My day starts with you and ends with you, you're my world Amal.

I don't know what I have done to receive such a sweet gift in form of you. You're the best, the Sweetest and the most genuine person I've known. I'm not only in love with you but I respect and have all my admiration in store for you.

I don't know how to thank God but I'm grateful to have you in my life. And I promise to love you now and forever and always hold you close to my heart.

I became emotional, tears were blocking my vision, but I tried my best not to let them out so I won't ruin my makeup.

Suddenly the music stopped, and I felt a soft tap on my shoulder, the light went off again, then came back in full this time.

I turned around and saw usman on his knees and was holding a bouquet.

" I've been dreaming of this day to come, and it's finally here, so Amal Abubakar Aminu will you be my girlfriend" he inquired

I became speechless at that moment, I tried holding back my tears but no they still found their way out. I looked at usman and all I could see was hope filled in his eyes.

"yes! Yes! usman, I'll be your girlfriend" I jubilantly said

He stood up and hugged me, I just felt myself hugging him back, but damn I felt secure in his arms. he handed me the bouquet and kissed my forehead.

Suddenly the whole place started clapping, I became shocked. khaleed came out of nowhere, then fahad, followed by Ameenah and the last person I saw made me scream

"Aishaaaaaa!" I jumped on her

"congrats, our soon to be mrs usman" she teased

"thanks but when did you return" I asked

"yesterday morning, I was in Nigeria when you called me but it suppose to be a surprise so I didn't make it obvious " she said

"congrats, you must be Amal right" a handsome Arab guy interrupted.
But before I could speak up Aisha quickly caught me off

"Uhm, meet my fiancé, Adnan" she said blushing

"Ooh, it nice meeting you" I said smiling but still shocked

I was happy for her though, Arab is going to join the family soon

"Amal, can I have you for a sec" usman said

"yhh, sure" I replied

"um, my dad opened another company branch at Turkey and he asigned me to be in charge of it, so I was wondering if we would go together" he said

I became dumbstruck, I didn't know the what to tell him, so many thoughts running through my head.

" take your time and think about it" he said

"OK" was all my mouth could utter.

Just then Aisha and Ameenah appeared, he excused us and said he would be back in a minute.

"so this girl you have fiancé and you didn't tell me" I said faked hurt

"Hehe it was all a surprise, we wanted to surprise you all at once" Aisha said

"and I have another surprise for you" Ameenah joyfully said

"you people should not kill me, what's it again" I said in an eager tone

"I'm moving to Thailand to start a business!!!" she exclaimed

"Whaaaaaat! are you serious!" I yelled

"yess! I'm very serious" she chuckled

I'm an emotional freak, I couldn't hold back my tears, but they were for joy. I was happy for them but sad at same time.

"what happened, why are you crying" they both asked

"I'm just happy for y'all but also sad, we won't be together anymore, I won't get to see you y'all frequently, I'm going to miss you guys" I said grievously

"Awwn, don't worry, with time everything will be alright" Aisha said before hugging me then Ameenah joined

"OK ok, enough of the cries, let's vibe up the place" Ameenah said

We both stood up and grabbed a drink "cheers to the trenion" we said in unison

We ate, drank and celebrated, took some pictures and rocked the night.

'This night is going to be an unforgettable memory' I whispered to myself.....
