Khaleed pov

It been a while and I haven't heard from usman. I went to his house yesterday but the gate man told me he had travel for about three days now.

So today I thought of visiting his parents house to confirm from them.

When I arrived I found his mom sitting at the balcony, I waved my hand and luckily she saw me so she came downstairs immediately.

I asked her about usman and that was when she asked me to try calling his number first before she'll tell me anything. I dialed and it says switched off.

"mama his phone is switched off, where did he tell you he was going" I asked usman's mom

"he said he was going for a business trip at Lagos, and now it's been three days he didn't call and his phone has been switched off" she said

"mama don't worry I'll find out where he is In sha Allah" I assured her

I stood up and left, the mom seemed so worried. I tried his number but it was still the same thing. at least fahad is here so it a less pressure for me.

I headed home to get some rest. tbh the police aren't helping matters at all, I think I have to take things in hand.

I took a hot relaxing shower and brought out my laptop. I know a bit about tracking but I'll use YouTube tutorials for more.

After multiple tries, I finally succeeded. the phone was located at Lagos State.

I quickly called the DPO and informed him, he assured me that we'll be heading for Lagos tomorrow but they won't be dressing in their uniform so not to make it obvious.

I informed fahad and my mom that I'll be leaving for Lagos tomorrow.

I performed ablution prayed isha and drifted to sleep.

I miss Amal so much, it felt like a dream remembering the last day we met.

I bet her family are in more tension. We visited her mom recently, she seems to start getting over it. I just hope they find her and the kidnappers.

I cleared my thought and was about to leave the room when I heard my phone ringing, it Ameenah

"hello Ameenah"

"Aishaaa, I just got the news from khaleed that they tracked usman's phone and it happened to be in Lagos so he's leaving for Lagos tomorrow" she said all in one breath.

"Alhamdulilah, but what about Amal" I asked

"I don't know yet but probably they should be together with usman" she said doubtly

"Toh May Allah help us all" I said

"Ameen ya Allah" she replied

"Ameenah I have a bad news for you"

"what is it again"

" yesterday my mom told me that I'll be transferring to Dubai to complete my course" I said sadly

"Whatttt!!! Dubai!!! that's so far away" she said

"yes I told her the same thing but she said it not a choice I have to go but I honestly don't want to leave" I replied

"Aisha you're leaving me alone, Amal is gone and now you also why are you guys doing this to me" she said sobbing

"listen Ameenah don't cry mana, the thing is easy you can also apply for any college there then we can create time to meet, please you don't have to cry" I consoled her

"But what about Amal" she asked

"I know Amal's parents won't mind too but please try and apply" I said

"Toh shikenan I'll try and see" she said

Minutes later, the call ended. I really feel bad. I mean it like I'm betraying my friends by leaving them.

I don't even know why I'm transferring there but I hope it just for the best.

I headed downstairs to eat but I didn't have the appetite. Well I ate a little bit and went back upstairs.

I took a hot shower and changed into a pink pyjamas, I wasn't praying so I decided to watch some movies before sleeping just to wash off my thoughts. I didn't even know when I fell asleep......

Ameenah pov
"ugh not this early" I groaned. I woke up to the sound of kids crying, shouting and everything.

I had no idea of what was happening, it seems like a party. Well I headed downstairs to see for myself.

Everywhere was decorated with balloons and glitters. Kids where running here and there.

I checked for my mom but couldn't find her 'Ikon Allah' I murmured. I grabbed a kid and asked him what was happening he just looked at me and hissed.

Like children of nowadays are lacking sense. I just didn't feel like disciplining him so I let go of him.

I headed to the kitchen and found so many aunties, I wanted to escape greetings so I just turned not knowing one of them saw me.

"Keh Yarinyan nan baki iya gaisuwa ba koh" (this girl so you don't know how to greet right) one of them said I didn't even know who she was, I just greeted

"Ina Kwanan ku" (Good morning y'all)

"lafiya"(fyn) they answered in chorus

I stood up right away and left in order to avoid conversation with them so I rushed upstairs immediately, I wasn't even watching my way cuz I was skipping stairs just then I bombed into my mom

"mom where have you been" I said acting like a kid

"I was showering, what happened" she said smiling

"what's happening in this house this early morning" I asked

"Ooh it khalil's birthday and Asiya's bridal shower" she replied

Asiya is my paternal cousin sister and khalil is her younger brother, I'm not that close to my paternal aunties and cousins so I don't think staying in the house is going to be a good idea.

"all in this house, chabdi are the aunties going to spend their night here" I asked

"yes, you dama I don't know what's wrong with you why don't you like your paternal aunties" she asked

"mom it like I'm going for sleepover in Aisha's house, I'll be back when their done showering the bride" I said and immediately existed not wanting to hear her opinion

I took a hot shower, I opened my closet in search of what to wear and my eyes landed on a blue jeans, pitch shirt and a blue jacket, I grabbed my pitch jalbab, a white hat and white sneakers.

I also put in some reasonable clothes in my bag pack and other necessary things.

At first I didn't want to close my room door but nah they're aunties and children in the house and for sure my room is going to turn into a room for changing diapers and bathing their children so no I quietly closed it and went with the key.

I picked the car key and headed to Aisha's house. Luckily I arrived early because she was also about to leave.

I greeted her mom and asked her if it was ok for me to spend a night with Aisha which she agreed.

I dropped the back pack in Aisha's room and then headed for lectures.

We talked about Aisha's transfer to Dubai which was the saddest news so far......
