A bad coming out party, Part two

Part two!

You're sitting quietly in the passenger seat of your best friends car. Smudging the makeup from under your eye.

You had just told her what happened, she said nothing, only nodding occasionally to what you had said.

She looked furious but still said nothing. It was quite a long drive to her house, probably 30 minutes. But these 30 minutes felt like the longest You've ever had, just sitting in silence, not having a need to say anything.

She pulls into her driveway, stopping the car, and getting out to open the door for you.

whispering a quiet "thank you", you walk to the front door of her house, her following close behind so she can unlock the door for the two of you.

You go straight to her room, not bothering to see if her parents are home to greet them. You didn't want them to see you in this state, dry mascara under your eyes, eyes that are red from crying, you honestly look like you just walked to Hell and back.

You sit on her bed waiting for her to come. Not long after she walks through the door and closes it behind herself, and sits next to you.

" I'm sorry." She whispers, taking your hand in hers, and giving it a light squeeze to try and comfort you the best she can, as there's not much she can do in this situation but just be there for you.

" you can stay as long as you need.
I'd never kick you out. I'll always be here for you, Y/n. so don't feel like you're over stepping any boundaries"

" thank you " you give her hand a squeeze back. " I really appreciate it, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. But I know it'll be alright, tomorrow I'll try and pop home while my parents are at work to grab some of my stuff."

" okay, do you want me to come with you?" She asks turning to face me. " yes please, that would be nice" you lean in to give her a hug, she immediately hugs back, squeezing you tightly.

" Alright, where should I sleep?" You sniff, pulling away from the hug and look around the room.

" well, I kinda thought you'd sleep in bed with me, like we usually do, but you don't have to if you aren't comfortable with it, you can take my bed and I can take the couch"

" No, no. It's fine I just thought -never mind. Yes, I'm happy sleeping with you" you give her a warm smile to reassure her that you are comfortable with it.

" okay cool, well how about we watch a movie to lighten the mood?" She smiles kindly back.

" perfect, I'll get a movie ready and you get snacks" You say, grabbing the remote and sitting back down on the bed, getting comfortable.

" perfect, I'll get the snacks -oh, and I forgot to tell you, my parents are out for the weekend, so they'll only be back by Monday."

" okay, that's fine. Are they okay with me being here then?"

" yup, I called them when I was on my way to fetch you, they said to 'send their love' " she shouts from down the hall.

You don't bother to reply, as she's already in the kitchen and won't be able to hear you. You turn on the TV looking to see what movie you should watch.

You always knew your best friend was gay, she's had many girlfriends in the time you've know each other, and each time, one by one, you where alway jealous of whoever she went out with, wishing it was you.  But now that she knows you're gay, maybe you have a chance with her.
